Job Description:
Quantifies business intelligence with economic models to evaluate new opportunities; presents findings clearly; and makes recommendations for action.
Assists with core business development activities, such as generating pitch decks and communicating with clients and competitors to better understand business trends.
Seeks out new market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis.
Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.
Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
Identifying and developing new lines of business based on consumer behavior.
Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
Developing client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.
Liaising with Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
Assessing and advising on potential joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Develop new business and long-term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
Develop, coordinate and implement sales plans to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
Develop sales presentations and participate in meetings with clients.
Complete RFQ's and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business deals.
Be aware of organizational growth initiatives regarding market and target customer segments and the company’s potential to meet customer needs.
Coordinate, manage, and resolve account issues.
Benchmark state-of-the-art practices to recommend profit and service improvements.
Negotiating and closing deals.
Reporting progress to the MD.
Researching active customers in the market.
Drive product and business development efforts to define an overall product and technology portfolio strategy that will drive the organization’s long-term growth.
Analyze existing products and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue, and sustain or grow profitability.
Monitors business metrics regarding revenues, profitability, market share, and product portfolio mix. Communicate these metrics to the senior management team.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing to define effective sales channels of all products.
Responsible for the development of the company’s revenue forecast.
Experience with inbound and outbound marketing, design and implement marketing initiatives including newsletter, trade-shows, webinars, collateral, social media.
Business Development Specialist Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry such as a Digital Marketing Agency, Web Development Agency, or IT Company is a must.
Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
