And it’s a wrap! The E-Commerce Summit started with an idea that was triggered by the remarkable potential of e-commerce in Egypt and the Middle East. We are very grateful for all the amazing guests, partners and sponsors who helped us pull this summit together with trust, meaningful engagement, and ultimate support.

A huge thank you to all our speakers and attendees who continued to make the Summit a success for the second year! We witnessed unprecedented success with a record turnout of participants from the industrial, trade, finance, and banking sectors. Everyone contributed to a very fruitful day and an exceptionally vibrant floor!

Ahmed Hamdy, Brand Manager at Otlob, went with Otlob from a performance based marketing strategy to a content marketing strategy. Otlob resorted to the cost reduction strategy where production took place in-house and paid campaign budgets were optimized and brought down to minimal. They focused on the quality and relevance of content. Ahmed went on saying:

We are very grateful for all the amazing guests, partners and sponsors who helped us pull this summit together with trust, meaningful engagement, and ultimate support. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made our first edition such a tremendous success! We have had a record turnout of more than 2,500 participants of the industrial, trade, finance, and banking sectors who contributed to a very fruitful day and an exceptionally vibrant floor!

Moreover, the first E-Commerce Summit witnessed unprecedented success with attendance of H.E. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology who talked about Egyptian Post project for E-Payment and the current direction of the government towards utilization of Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. Last but not least, we are also very thankful to everyone who shared their valuable feedback with us for a stronger and more impactful E-Commerce Summit 2019.
