Essam is Yellov's partner and one of Dahab's blessings, He's the real definition of a street artist. He started doing woodwork indepedently since He was 13. He's been in Dahab for 22 years. He always tries to help everyone around him. His life in Dahab made him attracted more to natural wood. Essam makes Musical instruments, Cutting boards, beds, Shelves and He teaches carpentry and wood carving. Essam started an experiment in his own workshop for sustainable building with Clay. He coated all the walls with Clay that he mixed. Essam is trying to fund a project to build an ecolodge with Clay and basic material just like Dr. Hassan Fat-hy's model for sustainable building. عصام من شركاء ييلو ڤي و من أفضل الناس اللي قابلناها لما بدأنا مشروعنا في دهب. عصام يعتبر فنان شارع بمعنى الكلمة و شيخ حارة بحكم وجوده في دهب لمدة ٢٢ سنة. عصام اشتغل كنجار مستقل من سن ١٣ سنة و بدأ شغل في أول ورشة نجارة فتحت في دهب و بعد فترة بقى عصام صاحب الورشة. عصام بيشتغل في جميع أنواع الأخشاب لكنه بيفضل يشتغل بخشب الشجر الطبيعي و بيصنع منه مكاتب و كراسي و أباجورات و رفوف و كمان نحات ماهر جداً على الخشب و بيحب يعلم غيره النجارة و النحت سواء أجانب أو مصريين. عصام بيشتغل بالطلب و أغلب شغله فيه فن و طالع بمزاج. عصام عمل تجربة في ورشته أنه يبني بالطين. عمل خلطة طينه بلدي زي البيوت اللي عاش فيها أجدادنا زمان. عصام شخص طموح و بيحاول يشتغل على بناء ايكولودج كامل مبني على طراز د/ حسن فتحي رحمة الله عليه. لو حابب تتعلم نجارة أو نحت على الخشب أو محتاج أي شغل بالخشب اتصل بعصام/ 01554001437

First week of Yellov camp preparations is finally done. We'd love to thank our artists who helped alot to shape the rooms according to the theme we agreed on. We hope you guys had fun as we did. We can't wait for next week. We'll resume painting and start doing leather work. Stay tuned

Please note that we're still renovating the camp so the 1st 2 weeks of the job will be a bit tough.

We just came back from Abo Galoum protectorate after a collaboration shoot with Cosmos Nature Lodge & Art Café. Stay tuned for some awesome work. We absolutely loved the place. They've got really cool tipis where you can see the stars at night.
