Bienvenido to Pinoy Barcelona Marketing, this page is owned and run by your fellow Filipino, a 28-year old male aspirant with hopes and dreams like many of becoming successful in his own rights. To give you a little background, I took up Business majoring in Marketing Management at Polytechnic University of the Philippines main campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila and graduated in 2015, worked some years in
the notoriously loud greater Manila as a Marketing officer, then moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2017 to work as a customer support for two different international companies for five whole years. Although my life there was admired and envied my many expats from the western region and the salary was promising enough to get by and establish a decent lifestyle, with limitless food adventure and mountain and driving and all the things you could probably wish when you retire, I never felt the I was there at the right time. My heart and my eyes are always looking far away and are in constant wonder, when and how do I get there and be able to do it. Fast forward to 2022, covid-19 pandemic happened, still on going, restrictions has halted or at least has relaxed in european borders. It was the time for me to take the opportunity to apply for the visa and fly to France, was not very sure to either stay or return, but I prepared myself for all the possibilities, I stay or return to Thailand, my head and my heart is ready. A spanish friend who I met back in Thailand offered to accommodate me in Barcelona, I did not think twice, i took a train from Paris to Le Mans, took a car with another friend from Le Mans to Montpellier, and the very next thing I know I was already on the bus crossing the border to Spain. Here I was introduced to a Filipino guy who sealed the deal for me, he gave reassurance of all the possiblities. I was excited of the thought of staying, I was skeptical and frigghtened all the emotions I endured for a week until "Okay, I am staying!" with a conviction. Now, with experience, confidence that I have gained, Pinoy Barcelona Marketing was born to service Filipinos living in Barcelona and Andorra, Madrid, whereever you are in Spain.
