I started collaborating with 1a Coffee Roasters on their design identity and packaging in 2018, and since then has been a journey of growth and inspiration for both of us. It's amazing to see what we've built together and I can't wait to see what we'll conquer next!

A powerful and nature-inspired identity that reflects the energy and positivity of the founders. Different textures and free brushes create a natural, organic feel, while bright, vivid colors represent the coffee's diverse origins.

1a Coffee is a small-scale speciality coffee producer and one of the things I admire most about them is their commitment to sustainable evolution. In fact, one of their goals is to be the first Coffee Roaster to be a Certified B Corporation in Vermont, USA.

2022, what a year. I finally got the push to start my own practice; I jumped into the challenge of transfering some of my values and knowledge to a new generation of designers; I was asked to work on one of my dream projects: the 8M campaign, that also lean into a collaboration with amazing creatives; I got the opportunity of working for barcelona, the city that has become my second home (hopefully I will be able to show you more soon); I became a “small scale” employer; and the most important I made mistakes, fell down, fought up and learned a lot about my way of working, allowing me to keep developing and to find a nice balance so I can fall in love again and again with my profession.

This list could go on and I have no words to thank all the people who made it possible. 2022 was more than I could ever imagine it would be.

I’m closing this year with a huge exciting editorial project on the table, so I think 2023 will be a hard working year for me, but I can’t be more grateful for it. I will try to be more active around here so we stay in the loop. Many thanks and let us all enjoy 2023, Eva

Finally beside the logo we worked closely with M&X on creating some basic identity element, defining a colour palette and choosing the right typography to communicate their values.

We try to run away from the typical aesthetics of consultancy and training businesses, as M&X main clients are from the design industries, and therefore their communication was intended to match with their view. By using an unconventional style and colours, we created a more close, personal and update look.
