It’s 17:00 in Barcelona and temps are 29. The window is open and birds are cheeping from the tree canopy outside that is taller than my building. In a few hours I’ll be having vermouth blanco in a plaza with some friends and it will be just as hot as it is now. One of the things I love most about living in Barcelona is that we are only one month into the summer and we have had glorious summer weather for months already. This hero from my Poolside Chill collection is a throwback to our holiday in Tarragona. A full week of chilling in a tropical garden, a few meters from the bar next to the pool.

** AI Mockups **
Unpopular opinion: there are great ways to integrate AI into your workflow as an artist or surface designer.

One of the ways I’m leveraging A.I is generating mockups of my work. I’ve been experimenting for a while and at first Gemini and chat GPT were the best, but since the last few weeks I’ve been using aistudio.com almost exclusively.

The pic in this post was generated with a single , well crafted and thorough prompt. Pretty impressive huh? Rather than spending hours with photoshop, spending money buying expensive mockups or using boring generic free mockups that thousands of other people use I can make my work shine across multiple products at once and bring it to life for art directors to see how my collections can work across a whole range of products while scrolling through submissions. You can tweak the results, change the look and feel of the scene or colors of the background, specify which products you want to apply your work to and ask for changes. Any blips can be fixed using generative fill/expand in photoshop firefly.
