Meet Avant Guides Bordeaux, an association created by a group of incredible boss ladies that are shaking things up in the tourism industry of Bordeaux and surrounding areas. I am very lucky to call them my clients! I had the pleasure of working with these ladies, when in the midst of business challenges due to Covid-19, they decided to do something different in their industry and they trusted me to come up with their slogan and design their brand. Making sure 8 women loved the end result was a new challenge for me as a professional and I loved every minute of it! Here are some highlights!

So as of Monday all schools, universities, nurseries are shutting down here in France.. Public transport should be used only when absolutely necessary, social interaction to be avoided as much as possible and many more..

It is a strange world we are living in and I have to admit it has affected my mood..

So from tomorrow I decided to change and keep my “Barcelona” mood/face instead 🤪

Last month I was in colour heaven for 3 days and I can’t wait to go back! Here’s a taste of Barcelona ♥️

A city infused in art and colours, with magical architecture, brilliant artists, beautiful people and food to die for!

So many galleries and different types of artists like an amazing craftsman of masks that I was lucky enough to meet before he retires! And of course I had to buy this beautiful flowery scull mask which is now hanging in my office!

I also met a brilliant woman painter that I stumbled upon her gallery by accident and my jaw dropped looking at her work (you can see a sample of her work in the photos).

And the cherry on the cake? I had the chance to meet up with another lady boss and a very good friend of mine, who I had not seen in 2,5 years! All in all a trip to remember!

Imagine women being celebrated EVERY.SINGLE.DAY ♥️

I was supposed to be in London this weekend with 12 girlfriends celebrating this day at the (Women of the World) festival at
I had booked everything months ago. Sadly the reality of coronavirus made me decide against it. I was so disappointed. But it was just one weekend, one day.

I do hope that you all celebrate being a woman every single day! Because we are bloody brilliant creatures and we should never forget it!

Let’s talk collaborations!

I had an amazing virtual coffee meeting yesterday with the very talented word magician as I call her, Rachel Hammond from about a future collaboration.

I’ve known Rachel since we both attended a business coaching course about three years ago. You never know how the people you meet today might become more than an acquaintance in the future 😉 Always be open to new opportunities and meeting other women in business!

I can’t wait to start planning and putting in place what we discussed. Here’s to women collaborations! Rachel and I will toast with a gin because we both share the gin love 🤣🤣🤣

If you’ve followed me for a while, you may have noticed that I have a soft spot for artists... Here’s another amazing mixed media artist, Karine Blanchet.

My daughter has been taking painting lessons with Karine (Atelier Expressions en Couleurs) for almost 2 years now (she is 5). And this past weekend we were at Karine’s studio where I discovered these gems of her work 😍

Karine’s father is an artist himself, so she grew up always seeing her father painting, always around brushes, colours, canvases. And she explained to me how much it positively influenced her.

Now I’m not painting every day... but I did introduce Elisa to painting when she was 1,5 years old and she loves it. I wanted her to be able to express her feelings through her art and to experience the glorious feeling of creating art.

So a pat on this mommy’s back today for doing at least this one good thing for my baby girl 🤪

Let’s talk travel ✈️ ⛵️ 🚂 !!!
I used to say “Oh how much I love to travel”! However, for a long time now my moto is “Oh how much I need travelling!”.
Have you ever noticed how much the effect of a small weekend break lasts? For me, this amazing, relaxed, energized feeling lasts about a month! oh the joy 🥰
And of course we don’t have the luxury to travel once a month but I am making a very conscious effort to spend 3 long weekends per year with both family and separately with girlfriends (on top of summer & Christmas vacation).
Having fun and relaxing is a necessity, don’t ignore it with all your business workload. In the end it only makes you better at what you do 😊

A very good morning to you! This is how this new day greeted me.. If this does not inspire creativity and action, I don’t know what will 🤩
So ready to achieve what I want this year for my business. I learnt the hard way that less is best. So instead of spreading my brain to a gazillion things (which ended up nowhere!), I only focus on 3 business goals for 2020. They are realistic but do need a lot of work; a great challenge ahead as I see it 🤪
