Burgos Catedral street view
 
This photo shoot took place in the city of Burgos, Spain, in early January of this year
(2026), when the rainy season begins in this small city.
I decided to make this record where I emphasize various angles of Burgos Cathedral, where the Gothic style of the church blends with the post-modernity of the city. I must confess that I was lucky because on those rainy days very few people go out for a walk because the cold is quite overwhelming with temperatures of up
to 1°C and a wind chill of up to -1 or -2°C depending on the climate change. In fact, in some of the photos, you can see that the people walking through the streets on their way home, I assume, were wearing waterproof winter coats or jackets, as they say here in the city. I remember it was around 8 p.m. when I decided to go out for a hot chocolate and took my camera with me to see if I could capture something, and I did. The simple fact that those drops of water caused a spectacular reflection of light on the ground andgave a minimalist touch to the shot, as there were very few people on the streets, was the perfect moment to show what life is like in this town named by the locals.

Walking on Bilbao Streets 

This photo shoot took place in the city of Bilbao, Spain, in the last days of November (2025).

In this photo series, I was particularly struck by the texture and colors of the stainless steel panels of the Guggenheim Museum.
I even took advantage of the opportunity to take a shot of the museum’s facade,
emphasizing the nuances of the metal under the soft light of dusk with a clear
blue sky. Another photo shows the museum on the right side of the front, next to the Salve Bridge, where I only show part of the bridge. There, I was able to capture some movement with a girl rolling her suitcase, taking advantage of the slope of the bridge that comes out from the side of the museum to show that feeling of leaving after a long day at work. The third black-and-white
photograph of the Zubizuri Bridge has been slightly edited with Photoshop to give the photograph a little rhomboidal symmetry without damaging the structure of the bridge on the left. Although it was quite cloudy that afternoon with a warning of torrential rain, I took advantage of the monochromatic aspect to give the photo a sense of antiquity because there are signs of deterioration under the bridge.
