I've had a few questions about this today, so I thought I'd share this. NO, your profiles/posts will not be made public, this update is just making you visible in the open graph search.

You can still set the individual privacy settings for your posts and profile the same as before. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this.

Facebook tweaked its privacy settings Thursday and will no longer allow users to completely hide from others searching for them on the site.
