Happy Sunday Everyone!

I want to just talk about self care for a moment ...

One thing I have learnt while running my business is that you do sometimes need to take days off where you reset and relax before the next busy week starts.

This not only helps you feel refreshed but it also allows you to see where things need improving. Just like an artist would step away from the picture/painting to get a better look we have to do the same with our work.

So whatever your doing this Sunday please remember to take some “you time” before you start your busy week again!

Are you not getting any social media content? Are these the mistakes your making?

1. Are you posting with hashtags? Key wording or hashtags are super important they’re what’s going to grow you social media pages because they let your posts appear on the homepages.

2. Are you using low quality images? If you are this needs to change no one wants a fuzzy or dark image to look at so you need to make sure you have great images to share and no this doesn’t mean buying expensive equipment you can get great photos straight off your phones guys!

3. Are you using short captions? You want to make sure your captions are short but also interesting. You want to get the attention of your followers in the first few seconds of reading your caption. So make sure the first sentence counts!

Define your brand and make sure everyone that follows you knows what your brand is.
You want to make sure that as soon as people look on your social media pages you have a good profile and bio that explains exactly what you do and doesn’t confuse your followers.
Brand colour palettes and fonts are a perfect way to catch people’s attention and get them wanting to find out more.

So I wanted to address an issue that many of my clients and other friends in business struggle with ... if you fit into this category then your not alone!
You may feel too self conscience to get in front of the camera whether that’s via pictures of videos and if you feel like this then your not alone it’s a common feeling a lot of people get.
Being camera shy is a hard thing to overcome and it won’t happen over night, so don’t push yourselves. Why not practice at home where no one can see you and try taking pictures or videos of yourself ... get comfortable with the camera!
Remember be proud of your company you have a lot of good and practical information that your followers want to hear and not only that but it will help boost your social media pages ... so why not give it a go!
