Would you give everything to something with no guaranteed return?
A seven-day design challenge, from a blank canvas to a finished brand foundation, static and video ads included. I set out to test myself, part of a hiring process for a global fintech brand: invent a hypothetical fintech brand from scratch and bring it to life across a full paid ad campaign.
The hardest part wasn’t any single piece, it was figuring out how much time each part actually deserved. Ideation, strategy, the identity itself, then the video edit, seven days leaves no breathing room.
Genuinely proud of this one and I finished a whole day early.
What came out of it: a brand built from a single shared point, an identity mark that leans toward one centre, a colour system that shifts from cold to hot as a goal gets closer to being reached, three static ad formats for different circles of people, and one video ad, all strategy, identity, and creative decisions entirely mine and the sole constraint being time itself.

The bittersweet part: it didn’t lead to the job in the end. I knew going in that investing this much time with no guaranteed return was a real risk, but I took it anyway because the opportunity meant a lot to me. What I walked away with mattered more than I expected, proof to myself that I could actually pull this off.
