Back to school with a brand new website 🔥

It's been a very hot summer in Antarctica, not the ideal climate for penguins 🐧, but we took the opportunity to redesign our digital iceberg in preparation for the winter.

Our digital production service has been operating for 6 years now, in that time we have been able to experiment, explore new approaches and refine our techniques.

We have collaborated with major clients and agencies and together we have developed display campaigns that have reached millions of users browsing the ocean of the web.

The past has been great! But it is time to think about the future and there are several topics that concern us.

Our business is not just about producing thousands of banners shining like ice and in record time. Unfortunately, we cannot help but notice certain contradictions that the consumer world hides.

Ethical Penguin is the place where we think about these contradictions, analyse them seriously, without slipping, and look for new ways to be part of the solution.

We dream of a future that is more empathetic towards the other inhabitants of this planet, human and non-human, a society that is more respectful of the nature we share life with, of our climate and the fragile balances we put to the test with the unbridled consumption of products or services that are harmful to one or the other category. 🐧👩🏾🌱🌍

Digital penguins who want to change the world? What kind of utopia is this?
Not alone, but together yes.

We are very proud to launch our first volunteer project: the new digital platform for “Arkadia Animal Sanctuary”.

Arkadia, located in Tenerife, is a place where animals can live their life surrounded by love and respect, they are often survivors of the livestock industry or have been abused in the many types of exploitation that our system considers “normal”.

The project got bigger when they saved more than 100 hens that were on their way to the slaughterhouse, the truck had an accident and they ran away. Thanks to the sanctuary, they had a second chance to live their life span and be taken care of, and we have the privilege to learn from this animals in a healthy environment. The sanctuary also hosts 7 pigs, two ducks and many cats.

Through the website it is also possible to sponsor an inhabitant in order to pay her monthly expenses and, in the case of hens, to assure her the implant she needs to heal form excessive egg laying.

The sanctuary aims to move to a bigger ground to be able to save more and bigger animals, host volunteers and organize events. Any help is appreciated.

We as Penguin don’t normally work with website, but this case was very important to us, it is a good way to help the only local sanctuary who have a strong ethical belief according to our values.

Heura Foods is a a Spanish "Good Rebels" brand whose goal is to change our society and accelerate the change to a more sustainable food system. In just three years the company has already saved the equivalent of 276,643 animals since launching and that the aim is to surpass the equivalent of 1,500,000.

They produce delicious 100% vegetal meat, proposing a valid alternative to the well know

In 2020 Heura has been the fastest growing Startup in Europa, their marketing campaigns are flavored with a clear and always present mission and a delicious point of activism. They are expanding their "Good rebellion" movement to everyday investors, for everybody to be part of the change.
