Here’s to more afternoons like this ❤️

Yesterday I hosted my first Color Palette Party in Sevilla 😀

14 gorgeous women joined me, along with makeup artist Gabi from You Deserve It | Makeup & Hair Seville for a fabulous afternoon talking all things colour.

One of the loveliest parts was hearing from the women afterwards about how many new things they’d learned, including things they’d never even considered before.

It’s what I love about teaching style.

Often, there can be really simple changes that you’ve never thought about before which can completely change how you approach your style.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a lovely afternoon, and to Gabi for bringing her makeup expertise to the party.

I’m already thinking about the next one 💕

One of the nicest things about moving to a new city is being able to take your time exploring everything.

Visiting the top of Setas de Sevilla has been on my list since moving to Sevilla… and it only took me nearly two years to get there! 😂

I’ve been told the design was quite controversial when it was first unveiled, but personally, I love the contrast of the modern wooden structure, with all its curves, sitting amongst the historic buildings and churches.

We went at night, and the views were gorgeous. The whole structure was lit up, and we could see across the rooftops of Sevilla, all the way to the Cathedral. ✨

I snapped a few photos but made a conscious effort to put my phone away and just enjoy the whole experience of it all.

Definitely a must-do if you’re visiting Sevilla ❤️

“What can I wear with chocolate brown?” A client asked recently.

Brown has been trending for several years now and continues to be a strong colour across fashion, but I find many clients are still hesitant to try it.

They’re often not quite sure whether it suits them, or what to wear it with beyond the obvious neutrals.

And yet, once we find the right shade and start experimenting with different combinations, most end up loving it.

This client already had a few ideas in mind from neutrals, creams and beige, but wanted to bring more colour into the mix.

This is the kind of question I get asked all the time, and there are often far more combinations than you might initially think, once you know how to combine colour and make it work with the rest of your wardrobe.

Here are 4 options I gave this client, who has cool and soft colouring, because the colours that work best will also depend on your own colouring and the message you want to send.

I speak with a lot of female professionals and leaders about style, and so many of them are already trying all the things.

But in my experience all those bits and pieces of information can actually make things harder, especially when no one has shown you how to connect them all, and fill in the missing pieces.

When you invest in elevating your style, it’s not just your confidence that’s waiting to elevate too.

It’s every aspect of how you show up in life.

One of the biggest impacts I didn’t quite imagine when I started this work was how often my clients would go on to promotions, new roles, new businesses and bigger opportunities.

Because when you raise your standards in one area of your life, you naturally start looking at where else you’re ready for more.

A lot of my clients are already accomplished female leaders, but there's often a gap between how they currently show up, and how they actually want to show up.

And when we work on closing that gap, there's a ripple effect that happens.

It's one of the things I love most about this work.

Yes, we’re working on your style.

But the impact can go so much further than your wardrobe. ❤️

If you’re a female professional or leader who's ready for more, my next Million Dollar Style cohort starts in October.

We’ll spend six weeks together transforming your style and the way you approach it.

You can find out more and apply via the link in my bio.

Every single week, I try to walk down a street in Sevilla that I’ve never been down before.

Perhaps it’s my curiosity, but I’m always tempted to take a different route, even if it means getting a little lost or ending up further away from where I intended.

Because inevitably, I discover a new bar I want to try, pass a beautiful building I’ve never noticed before, or simply take pleasure in the beauty of a gorgeous patio or garden tucked away somewhere.

Sevilla is such a beautiful city to walk around, but even here, it can be easy to keep taking the same familiar routes everywhere.

And I think the same thing can happen with our style.

We wear the same things on repeat because it feels easier.

Or sometimes we’re hesitant to explore and try something different in case it doesn’t work.

But over time, that’s often how we end up feeling bored with our style, or feeling like it doesn’t quite express who we are anymore.

So this is your reminder to stay curious.

You don’t have to completely change the way you dress.

Maybe it’s wearing a piece of jewellery you haven’t reached for in years.

Trying a colour you’ve always been drawn to.

Or simply putting two pieces together in a way you haven’t tried before.

Sometimes you have to take a slightly different route to discover something you really like.

So, what’s one different thing you could try with your style over the coming week?

I know that buying new pieces can seem like the answer to your style and wardrobe problems, but it’s not.

Honestly, I’ve seen too many women’s wardrobes filled with pieces they only wore once, or worse never at all.

Start with you first. Then the clothes.

I don’t rush this.

Inside Million Dollar Style, we spend six weeks working through it together, following a step-by-step system that will change, for good, the way you approach your style and the decisions you make around it.

We’re starting again in October.

If you’d like hear more about it, DM me and I’ll send you the details.

Stop putting yourself last.

I see this all the time. We can be very good at prioritising everyone and everything else.

There’s our families, our careers, our businesses. The people who need us.

And something like our style gets pushed further and further down the list.

So the wardrobe that hasn’t felt right for one year becomes two years and then three.

But at some point, you have to decide that you’re worth putting some time and attention into as well.

Give yourself permission to make yourself a priority too.

And that doesn’t mean you have to figure it all out yourself.

Sometimes getting support is exactly what helps you finally do the thing you’ve been putting off for months, or even years.

Because there is something really powerful about deciding: actually, I’m going to do this for me.

Your own needs matter too ❤️.

Getting dressed for work isn’t meant to feel this hard. Here’s what really changes things.

Be honest…when did you last do a knicker drawer audit? 😂

I personally love wearing great lingerie — even when it’s the not-so-aesthetically-pleasing tummy-control variety. I seem to need these more than ever these days!
