Life has really felt like this lately. Busy, always on the run.

I made the bold decision to move to Madrid, Spain and have been navigating through the changes as best as I can.

I’ve had some time to look over my Instagram page and I’ve realized that it no longer aligns with how I envision to represent myself as a brand.

So I’ve decided to make a change, and create a new style grid for TZ Social Studios.

This is not a re-brand, it’s a realignment with how I envision TZ Social Studios in the industry and the type of clients I want to work with.

I’m excited to begin this new chapter and to announce that we have also opened our books for clients in the EU starting in May 🕊️

People don’t come on social media to be sold to 🙅🏻‍♀️

Businesses who don’t have a marketing team or a strategy in place will often focus on selling their product or service to people on social media and will stay convinced that people care.

If you are a business owner and you have done this before, I want you to try thinking of it this way instead:

👉🏻 Why do you go on social media?
👉🏻 Is it to directly buy a product?
👉🏻 Or is it to relax, to check up on your friends and see something relatable or funny?

We go on social media for all of the reasons above and sometimes in the process we get influenced to buy.

We might not realize it but we buy from brands we relate to. We buy from the brands that make us feel a part of a community where we feel heard and understood. They unintentionally inlfuence us to buy with the way they present themselves to us on social media.

A small business can influence someone a lot more than a big established brand if it has a killer social strategy. We are in the era of authenticity and some brands at the higher level aren’t able to reach it because of their polished content.

I'll keep saying it, the time to invest in social media is now – it’s the tiny spotlight on your business that can make a huge difference in the way you sell your services – without your audience even knowing that you are doing it.

I remember when I used to sketch fashion outfits and draw models as a kid. I loved drawing even though I was not that great at it. I also sketched simple interior designs and found excitement in doing it.

But it never really clicked until this day that creative work is something I've always wanted to do. And no, I never worked in fashion or interior design, but I've always been drawn to both. And I think all this passion now translates into the work I do in social media marketing.

A lot of the work I do has a visually creative aspect to it. I love experimenting with designs and colours to bring clients their dream brand identity to life. Visual identities are my specialty, and my favorite to dive into!

You might see my follower count and think "there is no way she can grow my social media channels."

But what you don't see is the countless hours I spend every day working on strategies, research, designs, emails, copywriting and much more to help my clients' social media channels grow.

A follower count has never been a good representation of a person's value or let alone their success. And this goes for any industry, not just for social media management.

What use are thousands of followers if none of them care about what you have to offer, let alone purchase from you? 🤔

Instead of focusing on a social media manager's follower count, focus on the quality of work they have created for their clients and the results they have achieved.

P.S. I still managed to be fully booked out with clients all year long in 2023, with less than a thousand followers on social media! 💭
