We are excited to launch Culture Talk! A new partnership between Hyatt Regency and Prologue BCW, which celebrates living in Ethiopia, especially in Addis Ababa. Culture Talk will be a dynamic forum, bringing speakers from diverse backgrounds and ¬elds to discuss this exciting and fast-changing country.
A panel of artists will discuss the local contemporary art scene. We have assembled a mix of young and established artists to come and talk about what inspires them and how they live as artists in Ethiopia. Moderated by Bekele Mekonnen (Associate Professor of Fine Arts/ Director of Modern Art Musuem, Gebrekristos Desta Center), this installment of Culture Talk, “Art & Artists in Ethiopia” promises to be an exciting adventure in understanding the thriving art world in Ethiopia!
