What is a branding strategy ?

Once a company has executed a successful brand strategy, customers will associate with the brand and what it does, without being told who the company is.
Often misconceived, a branding strategy is not the sum of your logo, color palette, or website; though these creative elements are integral to a successful branding strategy. A successful brand strategy should be well-formulated and executed at all business functions, with the goal of achieving improved financial performance, competitive advantage, and customer experience.

They should also identify the target audience, which will help strengthen the effectiveness of the brand.
