The story behind Bay Area
Bay Area is a Nordic network of growth marketing professionals. Our business idea came from the realization that, even before the pandemic hit us, remote work was becoming more and more of a standard, and co-operation with freelancers more natural. Still, decision-makers in fast-growing companies prefer working with local professionals already familiar with the Nordic business culture and practices. Companies also like having only point of contact for projects requiring multiple kinds of expertise. So San Francisco, the facilitator to Bay Area, decided to put to use the experience, knowledge and best-practises gathered from years working with freelancers and start the Bay Area network.
Freelancers who belong to the Bay Area benefit from having a community of peers – and most people also enjoy belonging to a team – while maintaining their freedom. By joining forces with other professionals, they can work on larger projects with companies bringing Nordic innovation, design and values to the world.
