Finnair has renewed its brand strategy, placing its Finnish heritage at the core of its future direction.

As part of this evolution, a new music ensemble, Matkantekijä (Traveller), composed by Lauri P***a, brings the Finnish mindscape and atmosphere of travel onboard every Finnair flight. From lounges to boarding and landing, and across marketing and customer service touchpoints, the soundscape accompanies the entire customer journey.

IVALO supported Finnair in shaping the renewed brand strategy and the new music concept, helping ensure a consistent and coherent customer experience.

Our sincere thanks to Finnair’s brand team for the trust and close collaboration throughout the process. Special appreciation to Lauri P***a for composing Matkantekijä and giving sound to the renewed brand direction, to Vantaa Orchestra for bringing the work to life, and to Music Supervisor Leo Niemi for guiding the project with care.
