Visited the TJJK - Tampereen Ju-Jutsukoulu open mat yesterday and had the privilege of sharing the mats with their black belts, colored belts, and some very technical young athletes.

Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and more than happy to share some rounds and knowledge. Always grateful for the opportunity to train with people who can teach you something new.

I didn’t get to take many photos because I was too busy enjoying the rolls. 😂🥋

When UFC became a thing, many hated grappling until a grappler destroyed their favorite fighter. Now many want to learn grappling, they became stronger.

When running became a thing, many hated it, tagged it as a fad, until it became a lifestyle for most. They became healthier.

Now when pickleball became a thing, many think its gay, I see some of my friends built a community around it, they became happier.

People will always hate, no matter what that is, and especially if its something they have little to no knowledge about.

Marcus Aurelius once said "We naturally love ourselves more than strangers, yet we care more about what other people say than our judgement."

So f**k them, burn bridges, they are all but background noises, let them bathe in their cholasterol and get high on their blood pressure.
