āŖļø Celebrating a remarkable milestone as Mrs. Taina Ravutu turns 80 years young.ā¤ļøāš„
Surrounded by the love of family and friends, this special occasion celebrates a woman whose life reflects faith, perseverance, wisdom, and tireless dedication. To God be all the praise for His abundant blessings over her 80 incredible years and enduring legacy.
Mrs. Taina Ravutu has an extraordinary legacy. She was among the pioneering flight attendants of Fiji Airways in 1966 and spent many years in the airline and travel industry, including working in ticketing with IATA alongside the late [Adi Litia Cakobau] and four other young women who helped pave the way for future generations.
She also made history as the first i-Taukei woman to own and operate a travel agency, Tainaās Travel, demonstrating courage, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit that inspired many.
In 1971, she married the late I.B. Ravutu, a distinguished government printer and Oxford University graduate who majored in Printing and English. He served as Fijiās Government Printer through several administrations and made history as the first local appointee to be elected President of the Australasian Government Printersā Association (AGPA).
Through years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment, Mrs. Taina Ravutu and her late husband built a legacy that continues to flourish through their children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
Their lives stand as a testament to the values of loyalty, honesty, perseverance, and hard work.
