Webmedia South Pacific

Webmedia South Pacific A full service communications agency in command of the latest technology and a great attitude.

Originally founded in 2005 as Webmedia Fiji, in 2017 we rebranded to Webmedia South Pacific to reflect a wider footprint with a burgeoning roster of international clientele that exceeded the size and scope of our long-established Fiji base.

As we commemorate Ratu Sukuna Day, we reflect not only on the life of Ratu Sir Josefa Lalabalavu Vanayaliyali Sukuna, but also on the deeper meaning of leadership itself.

True leadership is not measured only by titles, position or public recognition. It is measured by service. It is measured by the courage to think beyond one’s own time. It is measured by the ability to honour tradition while preparing a nation for the future.

Ratu Sukuna’s legacy reminds us that progress does not require us to forget who we are. Instead, real progress asks us to stand firmly in our identity, respect the wisdom of our ancestors, and still have the vision to shape a better tomorrow.

In today’s Fiji, his story continues to speak to all of us. It reminds us that unity is not sameness. Unity is the willingness to move forward together, with respect for our diverse communities, our shared history, and our collective responsibility to the next generation.

May this day be more than remembrance.
May it be a moment of reflection.

A reflection on service over self.
Dignity over division.
Wisdom over noise.
And shared purpose over individual ambition.

As we remember Ratu Sir Josefa Lalabalavu Vanayaliyali Sukuna, may we continue building a Fiji that moves forward together, with respect, courage and shared purpose.

Last week marked an important step forward as Webmedia South Pacific officially signed the contract with the Housing Authority team for the redevelopment of their digital platform.

This project is a meaningful opportunity to strengthen how people connect with information, services, and application pathways in a way that feels clearer, more accessible, and more aligned with the everyday realities of Fijians.

“This project reflects our commitment to improving how we serve the people of Fiji. We want our digital platforms to be more accessible, more practical, and more helpful to those seeking information and services from Housing Authority. This is an important step in making our services easier to reach and easier to understand.”
Mr. Isikeli Navuda, CEO, Housing Authority of Fiji

At the heart of this initiative is a stronger public-facing digital experience, supported by a new online application environment that will allow people to engage with Housing Authority services more conveniently. Once launched, the new platform is expected to make it easier for users to access information, understand service pathways, submit applications online, and interact with key processes through a more structured and user-friendly system.

For many Fijians, this means less uncertainty, better visibility, and a more inclusive point of access to important housing-related services.

“We are honoured to formally begin this journey with Housing Authority. A well-designed digital system can reduce barriers, improve clarity, and create a stronger sense of connection between an organisation and the people it serves. That is the spirit in which we approach this work.”
Mr. Manish Mishra, Director, Webmedia South Pacific

We are grateful to the Housing Authority team for the trust placed in Webmedia South Pacific. We also acknowledge the significance of this work in supporting a more responsive and accessible service environment for communities across Fiji.

We look forward to working closely with the Housing Authority team as this project progresses from planning into delivery.

At Webmedia South Pacific, we are proud to celebrate Niharika and Ansaria for representing our team at the recent Pacific Women in Cyber (PWiC) Training Series in Suva, Fiji.

Their participation in this important programme speaks to something much larger than professional development alone. It reflects the steady rise of women shaping the future of digital resilience, cyber awareness, and safer communities across the Pacific. In a time when technology is moving fast and risks are evolving just as quickly, initiatives like this remind us that true resilience is not built by systems alone. It is built by people, by courage, by curiosity, and by those willing to learn, lead, and lift others along the way.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the organisers for creating a space that does more than transfer knowledge. Through interactive training, open dialogue, and practical learning, they are helping empower more women to step confidently into the cyber sector while contributing to a more inclusive and future-ready digital landscape. Programmes of this nature play an important role in promoting inclusive growth, not only within organisations, but across industries, communities, and the broader region.

What makes this even more meaningful is that cybersecurity is no longer a conversation reserved for specialists behind screens. It now touches organisations, governments, businesses, families, and communities alike. When more women step into this space, the conversation becomes stronger, more inclusive, and more reflective of the world it is meant to protect.

There is a quiet power in learning. Not the kind that seeks attention, but the kind that transforms perspective, strengthens confidence, and creates new pathways for others to follow. In many ways, that is how real progress begins. One person learns, then another is inspired. One door opens, and a wider future becomes possible.

We commend Niharika and Ansaria for embracing that journey and for bringing back insights that carry value not only for our team, but for the wider digital future we all share.

The Pacific needs more voices, more leadership, and more women at the table in cyber. It is encouraging to see that future taking shape, one step at a time.
