Feeling truly blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to cover the Fiji Culture and Creative Industries Diagnostic Symposium in Suva.

It was inspiring to witness so many passionate creatives, artists, musicians, performers, cultural practitioners and industry leaders come together to discuss the future of Fiji’s creative and cultural economy.

As a creative, it was a privilege to capture the conversations, connections and moments that highlighted just how much potential Fiji’s creative industries have. Our creativity, culture and stories have the power to create opportunities, inspire the next generation and contribute meaningfully to our nation’s growth.

A big Vinaka vakalevu to everyone involved for allowing us to be part of this important conversation and for trusting us to document these moments.

Mareva and the Sea is an inspiring environmental story that empowers children, young people, and communities across the Pacific to become guardians of our oceans. Originally created as a comic book by Carlo Iacovino, the story was later transformed into an animated film by Only Idea Studios Fiji, bringing its important message to life through engaging visuals and storytelling.

Developed through the Pacific BioScapes Programme, the project is supported by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and funded by the European Union (EU), in partnership with IUCN Oceania. Together, these organisations have helped deliver an educational resource that raises awareness of marine spatial planning, ocean conservation, and the importance of protecting the Pacific's rich marine ecosystems.

The story follows Mareva and her community as they witness the devastating impact of a ship running aground on their local reef. Motivated to take action, they learn that protecting the ocean is a shared responsibility and that every individual has the power to make a difference.

In today's world, where climate change, marine pollution, habitat destruction, and biodiversity loss continue to threaten our oceans, Mareva and the Sea carries a message that has never been more important. It encourages the next generation to become environmental stewards, inspiring them to value, protect, and sustainably manage the natural resources that future generations will depend on.

By transforming the original comic into an animated film, Only Idea Studios has made this story more accessible to schools, families, conservation organisations, and communities throughout the Pacific and beyond. The project demonstrates how creative storytelling can educate, inspire action, and foster a deeper connection between people and the ocean.

A huge thank you to the Fiji Development Bank for trusting Only Idea Studios to capture the 2026 FDB Awards Night through photography.

It was a privilege to document an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence, achievement, and the outstanding individuals and teams who continue to make a difference.

Congratulations to all the award recipients and nominees, we're honoured to have been part of such a memorable occasion.

We're incredibly proud to finally share Mareva and the Sea with you! 🌊💙

This project has been an amazing journey and we're honoured that Only Idea Studios had the opportunity to bring this story to life through animation for the EU/SPREP Pacific BioScapes Programme.

Mareva and the Sea follows the story of Mareva and her community as they discover the importance of Marine Spatial Planning after a ship runs aground and damages their local reef. Through powerful storytelling, the film highlights why protecting our oceans and marine biodiversity is so important for the future of our Pacific communities.

A huge thank you to the of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), the European Union, IUCN Oceania, everyone involved in the production and our incredible voice-over artists whose performances brought each character to life. It was a privilege to collaborate with such passionate people on a project with an important message.

Powering a cleaner future through solar innovation.

We had the opportunity to shoot and produce this commercial for Electrify Energy Monkey, a solar energy company funded by MDF, showcasing their mission to deliver accessible and sustainable energy solutions in Fiji.

Through cinematic storytelling and dynamic visuals, we brought their message to life, highlighting the impact of renewable energy and the future of solar power in our communities.

Proud to have provided media coverage for the Regional Education Forum held from May 4–6, bringing together Pacific leaders, educators, and development partners to discuss the future of education across the region.

We were truly honored to capture and be part of such a powerful gathering.

Back in September, over 100 partners of Pacific Women Lead came together here in Fiji for the 2025 Annual Reflection and Analysis Workshop, five days filled with deep listening, honest conversations, and meaningful collaboration.

From inspiring stories of impact to valuable lessons and bold ideas for the future, this event showcased the strength of a stakeholder-led approach and the incredible commitment driving change across the Pacific.
