Time to unplug..?!

With the end of ski season arriving soon, it is often when a lot of us check out & take a digital detox.



Taking a break from social media can be beneficial in so many ways.

It helps us:
❤️Focus
❤️Reduce stress
❤️Encourages more productive activities.

But even with all of those positives, there are some potential drawbacks to detoxing from the digital world to think about. You need to prioritise your mental health but also the health of your business.


As the saying goes, ”There's no gain without pain”- taking a breather from social media may mean missing out on essential news or opportunities.


So make sure you take the time to think about what is best for you and your company before completely disconnecting!

Do you dream of working with influencers and leveraging their reach to promote your small business?

It's not as complicated as it seems! Here are some quick tips that can help you set up fruitful partnerships with influential people in the ski and snowsports industry.



1️⃣Do your research before reaching out. You don't want to waste anyone's time by making a pitch they're not interested in.
2️⃣Figure out which influencers have an audience that aligns with your target market and what kind of content they create. This will give you a good idea of how you could potentially collaborate.

Here are five easy ways to help you get more and leverage user-generated content:

1) Ask customers for their feedback after each purchase
2) Provide incentives for customers who post reviews
3) Respond to all customer reviews in an enthusiastic and proactive manner
4) When receiving negative feedback, reach out to learn what the issues are and how best to address them

People in an office waste, on average, 10 hours and 10 minutes a week procrastinating.

And 3 or those hours a week are spent scrolling social media.
