It’s been a super hard week, y’all.
This week has been filled with difficult conversations. Some led by me, some directed towards me. All of them making my heart sore.
But I’m reminded: this past Sunday I woke up to grey drizzle in Paris, and it felt—for the first time in a good long while—like the world was doing what it should: it was changing seasons. 🌞🔜🍁
And so are we all.
I find it very difficult as a business owner, employer, new mama, partner, friend, and daughter to take time to reflect along with all the the other things I “need” to do, but I’m going to try and make time for it moving forward. Because I want to honor the season I’m in, and transition as gracefully as I can between them.
Two more quick points:
1. Thank you to the person who called me out as a white lady not being the version of an ally that I thought I was. It’s painful but I needed to hear it. 🙏🏼
2. This tea, y’all. This is Hōjicha—à roasted Japanese green tea that feels like fall in a cup. Try some if you can. ☕️
So tell me, friends: what are you doing to get through your difficult moments? 👇🏼
