MSL stands as a proud global network built from the ground-up, powered by a dynamic legacy and entrepreneurial spirit. We were formed in 2009 when Publicis Groupe combined MS&L (formerly Manning Selvage and Lee), a mid-sized global PR network based in the U.S., together with Publicis Consultants, a European consultancy based in France, along with 16 other PR and events entities under the MSLGROUP
name. But our rich history goes back more than nine decades – to the formation of Publicis in France in 1926 and to 1938 during the Great Depression in the US when Selvage & Lee was created. Since 2009, MSL has been on an ever-evolving journey to build one of the world’s strongest global PR networks with 21 additions, including 18 acquisitions all around the world. In nearly every case, we acquired one of the strongest local market independent firms, ensuring that our local roots are deeply planted and our local relationships and knowledge are uniquely strong. Today MSL stands among the top handful of global PR networks. Our business is evenly distributed around the world – in Asia, Europe/Middle East/Africa and in the Americas – allowing our clients to benefit from the multiple perspectives and holistic thinking of our people around the world.
