New mask drop !
I initially designed This masks to be Mami Watta but upon reflection and due to my choice of colours … I think I’ll go for Agoué and Naete. It’s maritime but not deep sea like, it’s romantic but not mermaid like. It’s blue like a teal like a pond and not like an ocean. 🌊

The week so far.
there’s something very endearing and exploring your creativity in the most radical way in the most liberating and suffocating time of humanity. I always thought that you needed to be defined by one medium one colour, and as the days go by I start to think that as long as you find a lot of interest in your world, and that that word makes sense to me then you must use all avenues at your disposal to create that world.

Enjoying this time for researching Color with oil pastels. The work is messy, and demonstrative and explorative. The roughness of the contact with the paper, the smoothness of blending, the Color meshing… the process is very enjoyable. 🖍️
