A new collaboration, already taking shape through meaningful projects. ✨

Since 2026, we have been working with .studio , a French Maison with over 150 years of expertise in the creation and manufacture of premium hairbrushes.

For the Concours d’Élégance at the Prix de Diane Longines, where Altesse Studio was an official partner, the brief was to bring several prizes together in one presentation box, combining functionality with the attention to detail that defines the Maison.

The project was developed together from A to Z. Structure, materials, sourcing and opening experience were all considered jointly to translate their vision into a technically viable packaging solution. A drawer construction progressively reveals the different creations, while textured paper and removable paper inserts add tactility and functionality to the experience.

Thank you to the Altesse Studio team for their trust and for the quality of our exchanges throughout this project. 🤝

Behind every packaging project, there are people who look closely, test, question and refine.

Our creative studio is constantly exploring: materials, colours, finishes, shapes, trends and new technical possibilities. But expertise is also personal.

Each member of the team brings their own eye, references and sensitivity to a project. From the first inspiration to the mock-ups on the table, ideas evolve through discussion, testing and experimentation.

A glimpse inside the studio, where curiosity and passion for the craft are very much part of the process. ❤️

How do you evolve an iconic design without losing what makes it recognisable ? 💄

For its Autumn-Winter 2026 limited edition, Hermès revisits the signature packaging of its lipsticks, originally designed by Pierre Hardy.

The three horizontal lines usually featured on the refillable case become curves inspired by Scandinavian landscapes and Northern light. Colours also echo the contrast between Arctic scenery and brightly coloured houses.

A subtle evolution that resonates with packaging design: sometimes, renewing an object does not mean changing its identity, but knowing which codes to preserve and which details can evolve.

An ice cream tub. A heart. A moon. An orange. A pair of jeans. Even a disco ball. 👀

For our creative team, inspiration can start with a familiar shape and end up somewhere completely different : as luxury packaging.
Across our projects, we have transformed everyday objects, symbols and unexpected silhouettes into bespoke packs for beauty and fragrance brands.

But the idea is only the starting point. Behind each shape comes the challenge of making it work as packaging : structure, proportions, opening, materials, inserts and production all have to follow.

A glimpse of what happens when creative references and packaging development take shape 👉🏼

Un bac à glace. Un cœur. Une lune. Une orange. Un jean. Même une boule disco. 👀

For this project, the starting point was clear : translate the distinctive candy shape of the fragrance bottle into a metal gift box. 🍬

The first concept was designed as a single piece, but manufacturing constraints led us to rethink its construction. The solution was to divide the box into three separate parts, making the shape technically feasible while preserving the original design intent.

Several validation stages were required to achieve the right proportions. Colour was another key production challenge : maintaining the desired shade on metal throughout the stamping process required particular attention.

Inside, the cardboard insert was designed to be removable. Once the products are taken out, the metal box can be kept and reused as an object in its own right.

A project where creative intent and industrial feasibility had to be considered together from the very first stages of the design process. Thank you to for the creative design of the project.

How do you modernise an icon that is more than a century old without losing what makes it instantly recognisable ?

Created in 1912 by Jacques Guerlain, L’Heure Bleue returns in 2026 with a new interpretation by @ Delphine Jelk.

The evolution goes beyond the fragrance itself. For the bottle, retains its historic design codes, including its Art Nouveau-inspired shoulders and inverted heart-shaped cap, while refining the overall design and introducing a refillable format. The Maison also extends the L’Heure Bleue universe into makeup with three collector Rouge G cases.

From a packaging perspective, this launch is particularly interesting : rather than completely reinventing an icon, Guerlain evolves its codes, uses and applications while preserving the elements that make it recognisable.

From London to Hong Kong, The Portraits Collection continues its journey. 🌍

To celebrate the collection’s 10th anniversary, is bringing its universe to an international audience.

An update that particularly resonates with us at Upside: we have been supporting Penhaligon’s with its packaging development since 2022. It also reflects another part of what we do: supporting brands with the international rollout of their packaging.

Destinations, volumes, lead times, transport modes, packing requirements… Our teams adapt logistics solutions to each project’s constraints to coordinate packaging deliveries across different markets. From development to delivery, international distribution needs to be considered from the start.
