Good morning and happy Saturday.

I’m always in awe of people who can do things I definitely can’t and Susi_Gardner_Artist is no exception. To say she’s a fabulous artist is an understatement!

Susi specialises in wildlife artwork and pet portraits and paints in oils. She has been supporting wildlife conservation for a long time and recently showed her artwork at an exhibition at The Big Cat Fest, held at The Big Cat Sanctuary in the Kent countryside, which was a huge success.

My favourite pieces are definitely her big cats and the tiger you see in the post, is an award winning piece called 'Fierce Serenity'.

Happy Friday everyone - and I don't want you all thinking that today's post means I'm blowing my own trumpet! We're talking taglines...

My tagline is short and simple - I purposely did it that way for the reasons in today's quick post - have a quick look at the video - it's short and simple too!

It wasn't something I came up with on a whim, it took me a while. I knew I wanted something that described what I did and how I helped people and these three words popped into my head. And it wasn't my first tagline - although for the life of me I can't remember the first one I had - but I know it was too long-winded!

I've used mine just for illustrative purposes - I hope you find this a useful exercise!

Morning all, hope your week is going well - it's flippin well running away with me again!

Today I'm going to just give a quick tip on consistency - please don't groan! 🤣

There's a lot of people out there who think that Brand consistency is boring, expecially if you're posting similar things each week, or reminding people of something you've previously created. Well, I beg to differ - think about it like this...

Think of your favourite café. When I was in the UK, it was a very well-known brand.

The coffee tastes the same every time - and I always had a latte.

I didn't think it was boring or repetitive, I went back time and time again as I loved the atmosphere and loved the coffee! That's why I kept going back. But nothing changed - it was always the same.

It's because their Brand was one I knew, I trusted, I loved and I felt comfortable with it. Wouldn't it be great if your branding and your marketing felt the same to your customers? That's what consistency does for you!

Happy Wordy Wednesday! You'll probably be wondering if I might have just lost it a bit in choosing today's words...

HANDMADE and MAKER.

Of course every single one of you are going to know these words as they're very widely used when describing someone who creates beautiful things - but did you know the actual meanings of the words?

HANDMADE - Carry the essence of the giver's heart. Each detail is infused with love and effort, transforming simple materials into timeless symbols of affection.
MAKER - a person with the courage to create and share pieces of their heart with the world.

Now, these meanings I didn't know, but isn't it just so true? Everyone who creates something, no matter what it is - it could be something physical or something more spiritual. It could be something made from wool, material, paint, pottery - or it could be something created with a pen, a computer, something digital, or it could be a course, a ritual, an exercise programme - it could be any number of things.

But at the end of the day, it will be something that someone has had the courage to create and share - it will contain a piece of that person's love, heart and soul.

And that's what I really love about working with creative people of all types - you might make products, you might be service based, but you all create something good that helps others, or makes them feel happy.
