Time to say good bye to the studio! This place saw the initial ideas of my favourite prints. It saw the development of wedding invitation suites to designing fully bespoke wedding stationery. The space and the light were truly inspiring but my changes in circumstances and heating bill required a change of tack. So out with the old and in with the new. Fair well old friend!

I am still trying to decide if I should put up my work in progress rail in my new studio. I found it so useful having it on the wall and I spent a lot of time gazing up at it, however that is now precious time that needs to be spent working through orders or an increasing list of “to do’s”. Maybe it’s time to keep the walls clear of clutter. 🤔 what do you think?

Looking to save some money on your big day? Choose table numbers rather than names. Anything that has to be made bespoke to your wedding will add to the cost. Table numbers can look really elegant and can be colour matched to your wedding for no extra fee to give you that bespoke edge.

Happy New Year everyone! In the spirit of ‘out with the old, in with the new’ there are some big changes going on in my studio. I loved the old studio it was so spacious and clear of clutter, but it wasn’t the most workable space and in truth it was freezing in the winter. I am so looking forward to sharing my (less Instagram friendly) better business space when it is complete.

Nothing quite like a global pandemic to bring the best out in people. I have had more orders of this particular card in the last 6 months than I have had in the last 3 years! Good to see everyone helping each other out in times of need.

So it’s April 😳. In all honesty I felt a bit uncomfortable about posting lots about my little business during this difficult time, so I fell off of the band wagon quite early this year. Well done to everyone who made it to the end of the month - small business’ do need a lot of love right now. The Mabel Press studio is still open but with big delays on shipping.
