Abergavenny's Immersive Revolution is Growing!

It’s exciting to see more businesses in Abergavenny embracing the town's immersive digital revolution! We’re not just capturing the town’s landmarks but also showcasing the incredible local businesses that make Abergavenny unique.

From the heart of the town centre, we now have Gwagle , , Town Hall, , @angelbakeryabergavenny , and all featured in stunning 3D models. On the outskirts, , @, and Llanfoist School have also joined the immersive journey, expanding the reach and impact of this innovative project.

For a small Welsh market town, the warm welcome to this new wave of technology is truly remarkable. With each new business, Abergavenny is not just preserving its heritage but creating a vibrant, accessible future for all.

As we continue to grow, it’s clear that Abergavenny is becoming a town where tradition meets innovation. The future is immersive, and it’s happening right here!

And with Castle Meadows now in the process of being transformed into a digital twin, we’re adding even more depth to the virtual landscape. Once completed, the Meadows will seamlessly link to the town centre’s digital twin, creating an even more comprehensive and immersive experience of Abergavenny. The journey is far from over, and the best is yet to come!

Delighted to see the growing interest from the local media in our immersive digital twin of Abergavenny Town Hall—an exciting project that brings together heritage, accessibility, and technology in a unique and powerful way.

The model, which showcases the stunning refurbishment of the Borough Theatre, the newly accessible Market Hall, and even the historic bell tower, has already opened up the building like never before—offering virtual access to all, regardless of mobility or familiarity with the space.

Building on this success, we’re now expanding the project to capture Abergavenny’s town centre. This next phase will highlight the ease of navigating our beautiful market town, showcase local businesses, and provide a valuable resource for visitors, residents, and community groups alike. Our goal is to promote inclusion, boost local engagement, and provide a forward-thinking digital platform that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the town.

By creating an immersive town we can help enhance the great work being undertaken by the Abergavenny Town Council, Mayor Chris Hollins, and Town Clerk Sandra Rosser.

We welcome businesses, local organisations, and historians to get involved as we continue building something truly special for Abergavenny.
