I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately.

The past few weeks have been busy with exams, assignments, and client projects, so I decided to take a short step back from posting and focus on getting the work done properly.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported me and Marden Digital throughout 2025 so far. It genuinely means a lot.

Looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year:

- Two new websites launching in January
- Strong results continuing for my monthly clients
- Final year at university and graduating later this year

It’s going to be a busy one, but I’m excited to keep building, learning, and growing Marden Digital alongside it all.

Website Updates in Action 🔄

This is a good example of how a website doesn’t need a full rebuild to make a real difference.

I originally built this website, but recently we’ve refreshed it with:
• New imagery to better represent the business
• Updated sections and content
• Improved structure to keep everything clear and easy to navigate

Small updates like this help keep a website feeling current, professional, and aligned with how the business is actually operating today. It also makes a big difference to how customers perceive the brand when they land on the site.

Really enjoyed being at the Be Your Own Boss event at the University of Liverpool last night. Great to meet other freelancers and hear honest experiences from people a few steps further into their journey.

I found the insights from Poet Joseph Roberts and Jazz Musician Ni Maxine especially beneficial. Hearing them speak about how they became freelancers, the benefits they’ve experienced, and the mindset needed to grow independently really resonated with me.

Their perspectives on creativity, resilience and finding your own approach are things I’ll definitely be applying as I continue to grow MardenDigital.

It’s 10:00 pm and I’m sitting here finishing up a contract for a new website project, and it’s just hit me how mad this all is

When I first started MardenDigital, the websites I was building literally looked like Word documents. (Shoutout to for being the first to trust me — even when I was basically teaching myself on the job.)

Fast forward to now and I’m writing 10-page contracts, going to networking events with my own name badge, handing out business cards, and actually having real conversations with business owners who want to work with me.

All while trying to survive third year uni at the same time.

It’s definitely been challenging—some days are absolutely mental, but it’s also made me realise how much I genuinely love doing this. And how exciting it is to think about what I’ll be able to achieve when I’m doing this full-time.

I’ve also just launched my new website (finally 🎉), so I’ll put a proper site launch post up next week (arguably my best work).

Thanks to everyone who’s supported me so far — even if I do spam your LinkedIn feed every day.
