They serve the freshest pizza on the Lyn, eat in, eat outside or our favourite take away and eat on the beach.

Day 5 of 5 beaches in 5 days. After much thought I decided I would cheat and include 2 of our favourite hidden secret gems. First is Porth Ceriad, this hidden little beach is not easy to find and is accessed via long winding steps down to the beach, not for the feint hearted, but definitely worth it for the “escaped from it all feeling”

Second is Porth Iago another little hidden gem. A small beach accessed by another steep path and is a great spot for a dip in the clear blue waters. Apparently the northern side of the beach is good for fishing although we’ve never had any luck.

The Llyn is beautiful to visit any time of the year. Check our availability at

Day 4 of 5 beaches in 5 days has to be my favourite Quarry Beach. Having visited this beach all my life it feels like I grew up on it. At low tide huge pools are formed perfect for little toes paddling. At one end of the beach is the lovely Sandbar for coffee and lunch, at the other end Abersoch harbour perfect for crabing, exploring all the rock pools or if your feeling adventurous jumping in. The ice cream even visits you on the beach.

Don’t just take my word for it

Day 3 of 5 beaches over 5 days. Porthdinllaen has to be my husbands favourite on the Llyn. The fabulous Ty Coch Inn (once voted one of the best beach bars in the world) is a short walk along the beach, with occasional live music in the summer. The snorkelling is amazing with one of the largest sea grass beds in North Wales.

If you continue along the headland you can visit the Lifeboat Station and if your are really lucky you will catch the seals basking on the rocks.

Day 2 of 5 beaches in 5 days. Another family favourite is Llandbedrog Beach with its pretty brightly painted beach huts. At low tide there’s lots of beach for the little’s to run around and Aqua Beach Bar for breakfast, lunch or a glass or two. The walk up the headland to the tin man is definitely worth the views. Last few dates for summer.
