Another joint colour analysis with two absolutely fabulous ladies who were such fun to host.

Gorgeous cooler tones were the best for both ladies.

I love this Cassis colour, it’s particularly great if you have cooler hair tones and a darker eye, as it provides a little more depth to the coolness.

You can see that going natural with hair colour doesn’t mean you need to stick to frumpy colours, quite the opposite, the colours are strong, bright and jewel like with a blue undertone.

Look what I was gifted!!! OMG I so LOVE them!!

They are real baby ferns with Amber stones, and I’ve not taken them off since receiving them.
🌿
They were bought to be presented to me once I (hopefully) qualify as a Nature Connection/Forest Bathing facilitator, by gorgeous .

As she couldn’t wait that long 😂 I had the best early surprise at the weekend while we were away on to Holonic Drum Healing adventure.

So so kind, I’m over the moon, thanks Rachie B for your very generous gift - they are perfect!

The colours are perfect for me and just about every outfit I have!!

Beautiful green, perfect for Spring time.

Gorgeous A is in the deeper end of the SOFT palette. She has stronger colour than the lighter side of the palette which would be mid blonde hair, but her colouring is not strong enough to fall into the CLEAR palette.

Her colouring has warm undertones so the palette needed some warmer colours adding and also some deeper colours (see the last two cards)

The deeper colours because of the strength of the under tones in her hair, the darker eyebrows and also the deeper eye colour.

If A’s colouring had been mid blonde hair with lighter eye brows and a light green eye, she would have needed some lighter colours adding rather than the deeper tones.

There’s so much to look at during a colour analysis but that’s exactly why the tonal system works so well.

It allows for a really tailored approach, creating a palette that’s completely personalised working with hair, skin and eye colour so everything just feels more aligned to you.

Last night I was welcomed to a magical secret garden.

I hadn’t known anything about it before I went, so I had the best surprise when I turned up and was led into this amazing space.

The energy there is incredible, very powerful, and it’s a wonderfully colourful place to escape from the world for a few hours.
🌺
We sat outside and shared amazing ceremonial cacao from Ecuador, adorned with a beautiful primrose (first time eating one).
🪻
The robin and a few bees joined in and we sat with mama cacao and watched as the sun set at the other end of the very large “pond”.
🌅
The sky was blue with amazing tufts of proper clouds, clouds the shapes we used to draw as children. Pure joy!
🌤️
These moments are so precious and we need more of them to help balance our nervous systems, which seem to be under constant pressure.
🌺
If you need to escape the world for a little while and totally reconnect to nature offers her space in Oxfordshire to enjoy time to retreat. Seriously, being in nature like this, with your foot off the pedal, was the perfect way to end the day. Wish I’d taken some more 📸

I drove home with a big smile, marvelling at the pink and blue sky and the very nearly full moon.

Recharged, and ready for more decorating!!

As a small business, receiving reviews means so much and is always such a joy.

I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time to leave a few words because I know so many businesses, big and small, ask for reviews these days, and it can feel overwhelming to constantly be asked for feedback.

Happy International Colour Day! ✨🌈✨
What a perfect day to celebrate ICD, especially following right on from the Spring Equinox!

I hate to say it, but, the world has actually been getting a bit “grayer.” Studies of everything from cars to living rooms show that we’ve shifted from a world of vibrant variety to about 60% grayscale over the last few decades.
📉
Whether it’s the “silver sea” of cars on the road, the “beige-ing” of our favorite coffee shops, or just the sea of dark coats we see on the high street, we’re living in a very neutral era!
🧥🌚
But today is the perfect excuse to celebrate the huge gifts that colour brings to our lives. 🪻🌷 If you’re feeling a bit “grayed out,” you don’t have to look further than your front door for a natural hit of dopamine.
🌿
Nature is finally starting to reveal her palette again, the fresh greens, buttery yellows, and popping pinks are such a joy to see.
🌞
And of course, there’s always that big yellow thing in the blue sky that makes us feel human again after the long winter months!
🌷
Keep your relationship with colour going; it’s such a simple, instant mood lifter.
