Found this in my drafts from February 2025 and I can still feel exactly where my head was when I wrote it.
I was still learning how much motherhood had changed me, and how much of that had actually ‘leaked’ into business.
I think becoming a mum was the first time I really had to learn to trust myself. Being responsible for a newborn baby is absolutely terrifying, especially when everyone has an opinion on how you should be doing things.
And as it turns out, running a business isn’t all that different.
There’s always advice to listen to, things you could be doing differently and someone who seems to have it all figured out.
I listen, I learn, I ask for advice, but I always come back to what actually works for me, my family and the life I’m trying to build.
And it’s something I pass onto my clients too. Because nobody knows you or your business better than you do. It’s called a gut instinct for a reason!
I still overthink. I still change my mind (every couple of months). I still get things wrong.
But I trust myself a hell of a lot more than I used to.
And apparently February 2025 me was already figuring that out while cooking baby no. 2!
Buzzing with love,
