I love the Manchester International Festival and have tried to get involved every time it's on (increasingly difficult since the kids came along). Did manage to drop into the David Lynch exhibition at home, with said kids and parents in tow. Very enjoyable, despite the, "Is this art?", comments from the oldest and youngest members of out party 👨‍🎨👩🏻‍🎨🎨🖌️.

I'm a tad late to the party as always - been meaning to join with her 'May Prompts' for Instagram posts all week. Today is a recommendation for somewhere to go - and as it happens I spent a lovely afternoon strolling around The Edge, just outside Alderley Edge. Lovely walk and the views are fantastic - Manchester is just a speck on the horizon! And if you're a National Trust member, parking's free too! Highly recommended. 🌳🌳🌳

There are many perks to my job... but getting to scoff food on photo shoots at Chez Nous Bistro has to be up there among the best! Was lucky enough to preview the new menu along with photographer extraordinaire Katya Willems (it's a chocolate mousse that I'm polishing off - if you're interested).
