Just gonna leave this here. ⭐️

I’m absolutely over the moon to share that I’ve won an award from the amazing . The silver award for Ampthill business of the year 2023….say whaaaat 📣.

This achievement has had me bursting with pride (I’ve pretty much told everyone I’ve passed in the street since I found out).🤷🏽‍♀️

Since daring to jump into the big bad world of business back in 2020, I've come a long way and accomplished so much and even though its been tricky at times, its been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

A massive shoutout goes to my all-time biggest supporter….coffee! It's been my trusty companion, keeping me fuelled and caffeinated during those late-night brainstorming sessions….with myself. 🙋🏽‍♀️

I’m incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve been given. It's been challenging, it's been crazy, but it's been sooo rewarding. Thank you!

So this happened. 😱

I’m honestly beyond excited that my wonderful business has made it as a finalist in the Bedfordshire SME awards in the Ampthill Business of the year category.

I won’t pretend I wasn’t hugely shocked. ‘How on earth has my ‘little’ business made it as a finalist? Stupid imposter syndrome. 🙄
But then I sat and thought about what I’ve achieved over the last 3 years from starting Bee Noticed and working with lots of businesses in the town, starting my Bee Social Networking group over a year ago and taking over as the chair of Ampthill Business Connect

I’ve been volunteering doing some social media for and volunteered and worked hard with some amazing local charities including my beautiful friend Claire from Claires B**b Battle fundraising campaign helping to raise over £125k in 4 months.

Let’s not forget the real hard work….running a home, taking care of my sick husband last year and being mum to 2 Pre teens. 😮‍💨

So maybe I do deserve to feel recognised and maybe (just maybe) I’m doing well at this social media thingy. ☺️

I have a little question for you. 🙋🏽‍♀️ How are you finding your engagement at the moment on your socials?

It’s no secret that engagement has dropped over Instagram and Facebook (currently it’s at around 0.6%) so we’re having to work extra hard to increase it. 😮‍💨

One simple but effective way to increase engagement is by using a Call-to-Action (CTA) in your posts.📣

CTAs encourage your followers to take a specific action, such as commenting on your post, liking it, or sharing it with their friends. They also give your audience a clear direction on what to do next, which can help to increase engagement and ultimately drive more traffic to your profile.

One thing I will say is engagement is important however please don’t get bogged down with how many followers you have or if people don’t like your posts. This doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get the sale or nab that client. 😉
