Chorley residents might have noticed some new sculptures appearing on the town centre roundabouts. These are the first of a set of 3 we have produced for Chorley Council. The Council have fitted Jeremiah Horrocks and Myles Standish but still have to fit Sir Henry Tate along with the small signs identifying who each character is. They were produced from drawings produced by our designers, out of Corten Steel which has a rusted appearance which helps to prevent them actually rusting.

Something different from us this time. We were commissioned by Chorley Council to design a set of helmets and guns for the Cenotaph in Astley Park. 34 of these (to commemorate those from Chorley who lost their lives in the War) were then laser cut out of Corten steel which has a rusty orange appearance, over time the colour will get more pronounced. We think they turned out great.

We recently designed, manufactured and fitted staff photoboards at Turning Point bases in Oldham and Rochdale. They do a great job working with people in recovery and we hope the photoboards will help their clients identify who is who

We recently installed more Honours Boards for long-time customer Chesterfield Cricket Club. It was quite a change working in hardwood for these displays, with a printed acrylic covering with players names on. Fitted using chrome stand-off mounts they certainly look great.

Visitors to Chorley will be hard pushed to miss our latest new sign - we've just produced and fitted a new sign to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, at 2.8m diameter it's hard to miss, situated in the new garden next to Calico Lounge.

We heard the devastating news yesterday that our long term colleague, Paul Winward, who had been our illustrator for the past 30 years had died suddenly. As well as our colleague Paul was a great friend. He had not been well for a while but his sudden passing came as a great shock to us all. Our thought go out to his family at this very sad time. 🥲
