"You need to post every day."
That's the advice everyone gives. And honestly? For most businesses, it's terrible advice.
Here's what actually matters: consistency, not frequency. ✅
Posting 3 times a week with strategic, valuable content will always outperform posting 7 times a week with rushed, low-effort posts. The algorithm doesn't reward volume anymore. It rewards engagement.
If your audience isn't stopping to read, comment, save, or share what you're posting, then posting more often just means you're being ignored more often.
The real questions you should be asking:
→ Is this content valuable enough that someone would save it or send it to a friend?
→ Does this post start a conversation or just add to the noise?
→ Am I posting because I have something worth saying, or because I feel guilty for not posting?
We've worked with clients who posted daily and saw declining reach. We shifted them to 3 strategic posts per week, and engagement doubled within a month. 📊
Quality beats frequency. Strategy beats obligation.
So no, you don't need to post every day. You need to post with intention.
