This Instagram change came in a while ago, but I still speak to people who don’t realise, so let’s break it down 🤍

Your captions are now being read like a search engine. Which means if you want your content to be found, the way you word your captions matters more than ever!

Think about what your audience will actually be searching:

“Social media tips”
“Content ideas for small businesses”
“How to grow on Instagram”

If those words aren’t naturally in your caption, your content will be harder to find.

What’s working right now:

Clear, descriptive captions.
Natural keywords, don’t force it!
Speaking like a human. Trust me, people know when it’s AI

Am I saying never use a hashtag again? Probably a controversial answer but no. Just remember they are no longer driving your content and if the 3-5 hashtags you’ve written add nothing to your content, do you really need them?
