A little dream that has been quietly sitting in the background for a long time is finally becoming a reality.
I am incredibly excited to introduce 2025, my very own English wine, produced and bottled here in Kent.
As someone who has spent years celebrating Kent’s vineyards, wineries, restaurants, hotels and hospitality industry through The Kent Review, creating a wine of my own felt like a natural next step. Brackentide has been born from a genuine love of English wine and a desire to create something that captures the character of our beautiful county.
Brackentide Bacchus 2025 is a crisp, aromatic white wine made from one of England’s most celebrated grape varieties. Expect aromas of elderflower, hedgerow blossoms and English orchard fruits, balanced by refreshing acidity and a clean, elegant mineral finish.
Made in Kent and inspired by our coastline and countryside, Brackentide is a wine designed to be enjoyed everywhere from seaside lunches and summer terraces to fine dining restaurants and boutique hotels.
Initially, just 1,000 bottles will be available, making this a limited first release.
Brackentide Bacchus 2025 will be available to the trade, including:
• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Wine bars
• Hospitality venues
• Independent retailers
• Farm shops
• Event and wedding venues
This is just the beginning for Brackentide, with plans to expand the range in the future with additional English wines including rosé, Pinot Gris and sparkling wines.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far.
The name Brackentide is inspired by the landscapes that make Kent so special. “Bracken” reflects the countryside, rolling hills and wild natural beauty of the county, while “tide” represents our coastline, beaches and connection to the sea. Together, Brackentide embodies the meeting of coast and countryside, which is exactly what inspired the brand and its tagline:
Brackentide
Made for coastlines, countryside and everything in between.
