We felt it was time we gave back to the local community, so The Search Mechanics have recently sponsored the local football team in Lenham, Kent - the Under 7's Lenham Wanderers Football Club!

I've also signed up to be the club secretary, so each month I am chasing on subs/ signing on fees and paying the referees at the games - tbh, there's a lot that needs doing, even for such a small team but it's great knowing it's all for a local football club.

Looking forward to seeing their progress this season, so will try and update you as and when we have our games!

We're working with some 🚗 🚙 automotive/ car finance lead generation clients here at The Search Mechanics at the moment, who needed some input into their Google Ads campaigns.

Our PPC audit highlighted various areas of Google Ads that they weren’t utilising such as:

- No RSAs set up across the campaigns (Responsive Search Ads)
- No sign of any DSAs (Dynamic Search Ads)
- No Performance Max campaigns set up
- Effective Budget management 💰 💰 💰

We set the above up for them, as well as standard housekeeping such as regular SQRs/ Ad Copy split testing and some new Ad Extensions tests.

Within 8 weeks we’ve halved their CPCs (well actually it’s more than that at -56%) having kept the conversion rate at a similar level, resulting in their Cost per Conversion to also halve - yes HALVE! 😱 🤯 😱

Quick Maths...... they are now seeing double the amount of leads with their existing budget!

The big winners for this were Performance Max testing as well as the DSAs - these really helped us drive decent volume as well as keeping Cost per Conversions well under the average across the account.

Through our long-term agency partner, Growth-Division , we started working with Addland last year, a groundbreaking company focused on bringing land to life.

Our main aim was to plan, implement and manage their paid search campaigns. These campaigns needed to be results-driven, and we had a challenging cost per result to hit for their key North Star Metric.

Phase one rollout was a regional targeting approach, with additional areas being enabled once inventory was available.

Phase two was a switch to a national approach, allowing focus on other key areas to help maximise returns and acquisition.

The campaign data really does speak for itself.

Within the first month, we had exceeded the North Star Metrics, which we have continued to maintain since launch.

Traffic quality was excellent, with a non-brand CTR of over 30%!

These results were so strong that they doubled and then tripled their initial Google Ads budget within the first 6 months. Not only this, but we were able to scale the campaigns without increasing our cost per result.

James Smith smashed this one out the park, and the clients were delighted with the results!

- Keyword research & campaign planning.
- Campaign data analysis.
- Ongoing campaign management & optimisation.
- Regular ad copy creation & optimisation.

This will be across a range of paid media channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, & LinkedIn Ads.
