🎬 No trending audio. No cinematic montage. Just 3 minutes of what our classes are actually like.

Week 2 of our music video project was packed with live music, dancing, laughter, filmmaking, and even a bit of cake after wrap 🍰

These are the moments that don't always make it into the finished film — the friendships, the creativity, the chaos, and the fun of making something together.

If you've ever wondered what Black Elk Film School is really like, this is it!

Actors! This one is for you.

Have you been struggling with booking a job? Are you starting to feel discouraged? That's normal, and it's not your fault. It's the numbers!

On average, castings will receive 2,000 applicants for a single role. 🤯 that's crazy!

It's hard to stand out when you're in such a crowded room. So what's the answer?

You have to make it yourself. Short films, funny videos, music videos... whatever you want.
It doesn't have to break the Internet but it does give you the tools to move forward. Each time you make a video you're practising your craft, developing relationships with other creatives and showcasing your unique talent to the world.

You can keep auditioning but unless you get that 1/1000 chance, it's going to feel pretty slow.

So don't wait for permission to act!
Make your own films and show everyone what you can do.

🎬 Where do film ideas come from?

In this clip from our Too Much behind-the-scenes documentary, director Evie Hamilton talks about the inspiration behind the film and the message she wanted to explore.

Too Much follows the pressure of taking on more responsibility than one person can carry — a theme that resonated strongly with our cast and crew throughout production.

The full behind-the-scenes documentary premieres on our YouTube channel today at 6PM.
