This is Bucky my dog and honoury business mascot and he is very thankful it is Friday after a phenomenally busy week this week at HQ!

- we kicked off with the wonderful team at Shopping City, Runcorn discussing our plans for marketing, pr, social media, events, campaigns and everything else. Can’t wait to show you guys what we gone up with. Dave Pearman

- a great catch up meeting with our wonderful clients EROS a large tool and plant hire business based in Bucks and focused on expansion supporting their digital marketing and social media needs. EROS HIRE TOOLS LIMITED

- a kick off meeting with the lovely team at WH Carden as we have gone from pure digital marketing and website management to running their social media as well.

- submitted a few large proposals for some very exciting projects

- worked with some really amazing independent businesses who need a bit of marketing strategy guidance like Composty. Such a lovely family business with amazing values.

- secured some lovely coverage for the amazing emotional health expert Vanessa Louise Moore and got planning her product launch..

NO WONDER Bucky is tired!!

Don’t worry he isn’t doing it all, it’s a team effort 👏

We put our brand new baby bear Leo to work today helping us create some new marketing strategies for our clients.

Guys- he is very talented, I assure you that you are in safe hands!

Thank you to Taylor our PA/Project Manager and woman who keeps us on track around her little one for popping in to do some brain storming and letting me steal snuggles.

I started my business originally so that I could work flexibly around my daughter, I didn’t think in a million years I would have a new agency and growing team helping other kickass mums do the same.

I love visiting Manchester!

Yesterday was a very busy one driving up for a with a lovely client up in central Manchester.

My brain was going a million miles an hour on the way home, excited about what could be achieved!

The two hour m40 traffic jam didn’t even kill my Manchester buzz (although did make me a bit hangry by the time I got back 🤣).

How do you get psyched up for an interview, podcast, live broadcast or just going on live to your business social media accounts? (we have all had to face the fear of a live something at some point)

I have been doing live webinars for 2 years now to hundreds of businesses and I love it! This is me about a minute before I pushed the live button today and I still get the little nervy but good butterflies. (can you tell?)

What I love more is the adrenaline you feel before you push the button to go live because you never know who you are going to encounter, what kinds of questions might come up or indeed who you might be able to help off the back of your advice.

I have helped business leaders get prepped for their podcast appearances, press interviews, live webinars, conferences and so much more because I myself push my own boundaries so that I can help them with their own.

My business is helping their business succeed which funnily enough includes the people behind the business.

My top tips?

1. If in doubt- JFDI (say yes, get out of your comfort zone and go live)
2. Prep- get prepared with some notes and some potential q and a
3. Feel comfortable- grab a drink, wear what makes you feel good
4. Do something that gets you into the zone first- meditation, exercise, motivational music.

This business has the best social media post in Bucks this week, let's look at why. They kept it personal- showing off their work in all its glory at the actual wedding which helps people visualise how it might turn out for them on their special day. They also mention the happy couple which again keeps the post personal and shows a really friendly and approachable business owner. Well done Livia's Sweet Treats!

I have recorded over 20 case studies for the fabulous We Are Green Street in the last month looking at some of the wonderful businesses they work with in Bradford on all things Green!

These case studies are designed to look at what some of the businesses in Bradford are doing really well on social media and indeed how other businesses can learn from these methods.

I love my work!!!

Had a very busy day yesterday at the VIP launch event for my client 's brand new Lumenis Ultrapulse CO2 Laser which does some seriously incredible things treating scars, burns, acne scars, skin tags and cosmetic treatments like dramatically reducing wrinkles on the face and neck as well as sun spots or dark patches.

Mallappa Kolar did an excellent job showcasing this powerful laser to some lovely guests who came along to see what this game-changing treatment was all about.

Thoroughly enjoy my trips to Harrogate to work with such a lovely team and I can’t wait to see how this laser changes lives and improves patients' confidence over the coming months.

After talking about this on my weekly webinar this morning I wanted to chat to you guys, business owners about whether YOU would be as brave as Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline generally are on social media?

They are great at jumping on a hot topic and poking fun at themselves in the process to ensure they are always front of mind for people, understanding the fact that they are not a daily purchase. By staying relevant on Twitter they are then front of mind when people do want to actually book a flight.

This post is edgy, brave and pokes fun at both parties but around a largely controversial topic.

They strike again! We have found the most engaging post of any business in Aylesbury and it is Dead Universe Comics AGAIN. This post is fab because it connects the business with the community through charity work and shows the human side of their business. It also raises more awareness of the food bank which is helping so many more people. Big well done to Dead Universe Comics

I have been working with the wonderful Maybe* for two years now and the gorgeous Sarah Bassett or Lady B has been one of my main wing women on all things webinars for those two years.

Every week I show up with her or the lovely Amy Rountree and we deliver some case studies on businesses around the UK who are smashing it on social media with tangible steps on how ANY business can emulate it or at least be inspired by it.

Today the lovely Sarah and I rocked up basically dressed the same (no discussion was had before do not worry this is not a uniform) and it made me chuckle and reminded me just how much I love what I do for Maybe* and with a lovely team of people.

'The Maternity Return' - what was your experience?

In honour of Maternal Mental Health Month, Maltesers has launched ‘The Maternity Return,’ a social media-first campaign that portrays the ups and downs mothers face on returning to work after maternity leave.

The chocolate brand teamed up with Channel 4 and BuzzFeed to push the wider activity, which includes a platform for mums returning to work to share their stories and break taboos around the emotional experience of being a working parent.

Returning to work after having a baby- it is tough in so many ways and I am really enjoying this campaign seeing mums talk about what they thought would happen going back to work and what the reality was like- the good, the bad and the crying in the stationary cupboard with a breast pump attached to you.

As a mum who went back to a full time busy marketing role when my daughter was 7 months and struggled with everything from mum guilt to exhaustion BUT also really enjoyed being me again- not everything being about feeding and changing nappies.

I therefore really resonate with this campaign and it has done exactly what it should do- it sparks conversation and debate.
