Proud to Support Our Local Community with the Florence Nightingale Walk of Light
At Xpress Labels, we're proud to once again be sponsoring the Florence Nightingale Walk of Light - a charity event that brings our local community together for a great cause.
Last year, many of our employees across the business participated in the walk, from our production teams to our executive leadership. It's become a highlight of our social calendar, as we see it as an opportunity to not just support a worthy local charity, but to also boost morale and camaraderie among our staff.
As a local business serving customers throughout the UK, giving back to the communities we operate in is core to our company ethos. We partner with organisations like Florence Nightingale that provide vital support to people across all stages of life. Whether it's helping vulnerable youth, supporting local sports clubs, or caring for those at the end of life, we believe businesses have a responsibility to be a force for good.
The Walk of Light is an inclusive event that appeals to our entire team. Even employees who may not be able to participate in more physically demanding activities can join in and be part of something meaningful. There's a real sense of pride and togetherness when we come together for this event.

Fantastic Night with Good Friends for a Great Cause!
What a great turnout at the Buckinghamshire Yeoman for the Aylesbury United quiz night in aid of Aylesbury Youth Concern. The pub was packed with eager quizzers; hopes were high, and the atmosphere was electric!
Although our Xpress teams didn’t quite clinch the top spots, finishing in a respectable joint 12th out of 16, the night was filled with laughter and camaraderie. We missed our quiz legends, Avril and David Fowler, but the show must go on!
Special shoutout to Jake Hughes for winning a bottle of wine in the raffle and to Mitch for knowing that an octopus has three hearts—quite the trivia ace! There were some great moments, like Jack, known for his love of Pink Floyd, confidently putting 'Time' down for the album cover question—only to realise, to his and everyone's amusement, that he had mistaken it for his favourite album, Dark Side of the Moon.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support this great cause, including our friends from Actiph Water, Andrew Harrison and Stephen McSharry. Here's to more fun and fundraising in the future!

Xpress Labels Limited Announces Leadership Change

Xpress Labels Limited, a leading label manufacturer in the UK, today announced a significant leadership transition.

Farewell to David Ross
After nearly 22 years of dedicated service, David Ross, Managing Director of Xpress Labels Limited, has decided to step down from his role to pursue new opportunities. This decision, while not made lightly, reflects David's belief that the time is right for both himself and the company to embark on new chapters.
Starting as one of the first press operators at Xpress Labels, David exhibited the skills that continue to influence our current production teams. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping the company's vision and guiding its growth. Under his leadership, Xpress Labels has firmly established itself as a leading company in the UK label manufacturing industry.

Welcoming John Palman
We are pleased to announce that John Palman will be taking over as the new Managing Director of Xpress Labels Limited. John's commercial expertise and track record of working with some of the largest UK companies, such as Rolls Royce, Royal Mail, British Airways and Dyson means he is perfectly placed to oversee Xpress Labels next steps and continued growth into 2025.
Throughout his tenure with the company, John has developed the sales division by shaping our value proposition to emphasise sustainability, heritage, and partnership. This approach has assisted our clients and prospects in addressing complex issues and reducing costs associated with their label needs.

Looking Ahead
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team at Xpress Labels for their continuing support as we move forward with exciting plans for the future.

Many hands make light work!
Xpress Labels staff volunteered their time to restore a garden for Youth Concern in Aylesbury, a charity supporting 13-25 year-olds with essential services like emotional support, counselling, and homelessness prevention. This initiative is part of Xpress Labels' commitment to improving Youth Concern's facilities and fundraising for essential resources. We are excited to announce our long-term charity partnership with Youth Concern Aylesbury!
Youth Concern provides essential services such as emotional support, a youth food bank, counselling, and homelessness prevention for Aylesbury's 13-25 year-olds. With a 64% increase in demand for their services this year, our collaboration aims to address local inequalities and support the well-being of our community's youth.

Our fundraising efforts kick off with a 5K Aylesbury parkrun on Saturday, 14th September, where 10 of our staff members will participate, some running for the first time since their school days.
