“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

Cornelia Arnolda Johanna "Corrie" ten Boom (15th April 1892 – 15th April 1983) was a Dutch watchmaker and later a Christian writer and public speaker, who worked with her father, Casper ten Boom, her sister Betsie ten Boom and other family members to help many Jewish people escape from the N***s during the Holocaust in World War II by hiding them in her home. They were caught, and she was arrested and sent to the Ravensbrück concentration camp. Her most famous book, The Hiding Place, is a biography that recounts the story of her family's efforts and how she found and shared hope in God while she was imprisoned at the concentration camp.

Yayyy tape has been listed! 🎊👏 Sorry I always post on Instagram and miss out fb!

I do know this tape is expensive.. Eco friendly tape is always going to be. All you small business owners know the struggle, cost wise at trying to make your packaging eco friendly! So for a few days I am running a little sale on it. I designed the tape myself (which took a surprising amount of time!) and got it printed.

I only have a limited amount so I will see how these go plus I have kept some for myself and then maybe I will put in another order 😁

"And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split." - Matthew 27 v 50-51

Sometimes we read scripture and pass over words and phrases. I know I am guilty of days when I study the scripture properly and deeply and others when I do my reading and close it again. However, this passage has always had significance to me so I thought I would share on here ❤️ when Jesus says it is finished and the curtain was torn in two.

All three gospels - Matthew, Mark and Luke state that the curtain was torn. This curtain wasn't just an ordinary filmsy living room curtain, it was made of 72 twisted plaits of 24 threads each and it was about 60 X 30 feet. It was in the Jewish holy temple and was used to separate the holy place (the early dwelling place of God's presence) from man. A priest was only allowed to enter once a year to make atonement for the sins of Israel. It shows us man was separated from God because of sin.

This curtain torn in two wasn't something that could have been done by a person and it was one of a few physical events that happened at the time of his death. The curtain also has historical significance when the Romans desolate Jerusalem in A.D 70 which Jesus had said would happen. It signifies a new way, a way that removes separation from God and his people. God would never dwell again in an earthly place and now through Jesus we can go directly to him. None of us are perfect, we mess up and fail daily, no one can say they have it together but no one can say they aren't good enough either because it's not about us it's about that moment Jesus cried it is finished, 'paid in full'.♥️

I have made these available on my Instagram for download and had done stories on them so just putting them on here too.

I made 3 templates to help people organise their days.
1. Normal list for house things to do etc
2. A work schedule list to help you keep focused at home.
3. An hourly work or day planning schedule.

I hope these can help, will be posting some other things too hopefully in the coming few weeks.

When I seen this verse in 1 Corinthians I thought that is a verse we should be putting into practice, not just now in a time of crisis but everyday.
After this is over and becomes recorded in history we should be living for others still. We are told - "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself" (Luke 10:27). In all things, are we firstly glorifying God and second are we putting others above ourselves. We may see ourselves as good people, we don't steal, we only tell an odd lie, we have never got caught speeding but if we truly look at our hearts do we really put others above ourselves? I know I fall short of this daily. However, currently what you can do to truly put others above yourself is stay at home and keep away from others when you have no need to be out. It's hard, it involves pushing away those selfish thoughts but together we do all stand.
