What a few days at WorldSkills Ireland 2026! 🙌

Over 40,000 secondary school students from 300+ schools across Ireland registered for this year’s event, with skills on show from horticulture and plumbing to cookery, welding, automotive, cyber security and so much more.

At the heart of the show were the competitions, with over 170 talented students and apprentices putting their skills to the test.

A fab few days celebrating skills, careers and the opportunities available for the next generation of talent. 👏

COMMS FOR A CAUSE 💚

On 26-27th September, our very own Sarah Hanna is teaming up with the incredible team Oasis Travel to take on ‘Loop the Lough’, a gruelling 100-mile challenge run around Lough Neagh, in aid of NIPANC

To help boost her fundraising, we’re offering one hour of PR, Comms & Marketing consultancy in return for a £100 charity donation.

Use the hour however it’s most useful to you - whether that’s to talk through your PR strategy, brand positioning, messaging, marketing plans, content, campaigns, media relations or simply get a fresh perspective on a challenge you’re facing.

Could your future be a skill?

Great to see WorldSkills Ireland featured in The Irish Times today, as excitement builds for its return to the RDS later this month.

From 16th - 18th September, more than 30,000 students are expected to attend, with employers, educators, training providers and 160 of Ireland’s most talented young finalists coming together to compete across 31 live skills-based competitions and showcase the breadth of career opportunities available.

What makes WorldSkills Ireland different is that visitors don’t just hear about careers, they see them happening in front of them.
