This isn't goodbye... a message from the heart.

So it's taken me a while to write this, and re-write this, but I am taking a break.

An amazing opportunity has come my way and I have taken it and accepted a new full time job.

To say that this year has been tough has to be the understatement of the year. The cost of living crisis, paired with the Royal Mail strikes has seen lots of small businesses come to an end, and it has affected mine massively.

Not only that, but George's nursery fees are over £500 a month for 2 days a week, so something had to change.

This isn't goodbye and not all doom and gloom, but I plan on taking at least a month off from my small business whilst I settle into my new role (which I absolutely love by the way ❤️)

I am going to be doing a Valentine's Day special with the Greyhound Trust again, as well as a collaboration project which will launch in Easter.

My website will remain open but I won't be using Etsy anymore as the fees are just too expensive. I'm not disappearing, you can still message me or email me at any time.

🇬🇧 The British fine bone china mugs are here! 🇬🇧

There are 4 designs available; the Fox, the Stag, the Pheasant and the Hare

This is a truly British product, with the clay being sourced from Cornwall, the mug being shaped and hand finished in Stoke-on-Trent and designed by me in Oxfordshire.

Here are a couple of specs about the mugs;

▪️Unique barrel shape design with generous sized handle
▪️Each mug has the animals name written on the inner rim i.e. "the fox mug"
▪️Microwave and dishwasher safe
▪️Height 84mm, diameter 78mm
▪️Approx 340ml in capacity
▪️Comes in a smash proof box

📢 Service Announcement! 📢

Okay, my tannoy recording didn't quite start like that 😂 but today is my last day of my pop up in John Lewis Oxford.

To everyone that has come down and said hi, bought my stuff and brought me hot drinks and food THANK YOU.

I cannot believe that I can now say that some of my products "sold out in John Lewis"

I have had so much fun and have enjoyed meeting so many people and telling the story of my brand.

If you are local and haven't already please pop down and say hello. I am on the upper ground floor by the escalators and I am here until 5pm tonight.

We are absolutely loving how well our Christmas table runner and matching napkins set the perfect festive setting for this time of year.

The beauty of a table runner is that you can have it on your table, or ontop of your everyday plain table cloth and it completely transforms your setting.

Pair your festive textiles with complimentary napkin holders, glassware and accessories to really set the scene.

This year forest green and amber are very on trend so there are lots of matching items around to pair with our festive designs.

Here is a sneak peak 👀 of our brand new British Made Fine Bone China mugs.

We are so pleased with how these turned out and they will be launching next week! Currently they are exclusive to John Lewis in Oxford 😉

A little bit about our mugs;

🇬🇧 A 100% British made product. The clay comes from Cornwall, they are then made in Staffordshire and designed in Oxfordshire, by me.
👋🏻40 pairs of hands go into making each mug, making them a really special item
☕️ A barrel shaped body with a unique handle shape and a thin rim
🫖 Microwave and dishwasher safe, and the design won't fade over time either

They will be available in 4 designs, the stag, the pheasant, the fox and the hare.

I am in John Lewis! 🤎

For this week only we are popping up in John Lewis in Oxford. We are right by the escalators on the upper ground floor.

It's an amazing opportunity to spread the word about my country inspired brand. With our British Made textiles and sustainable stationery that are illustrated and designed by me.

It's so Christmassy at today. The Independent Oxford Christmas Market is in full swing

If you're local pop down and say hi 👋🏻 the Seacourt Oxford Park and ride is only a 5 min walk from here.

There are so many lovely independent businesses here, it's a dog friendly venue and there is also a kids craft corner too!

As a small business, I simply cannot compete with massive discounts off of my products, as everything I design is made in the UK 🇬🇧, in small batches and my profit margins aren't that big.

However I do appreciate that times are difficult for us all at the moment 🤎

Yesterday on my stories I offered a variation of discount options and asked which one would appeal most to you for Christmas.

The response for a 3 for 2 offer was overwhelming!

So from now until 23rd December I am offering a 3 for 2 discount on all orders for anything that is Christmas. With the cheapest item being free!

This includes gift wrap, cards and tags and coming next week Christmas textiles 🎄

The discount is now live and it is automatically calculated at the checkout, I've popped a "how to" video on my stories as well.

🎄Dog Christmas Collection 🎄Launching tomorrow at 8pm!

Lots of you have been asking about any new designs I might have for Christmas this year and after lots of requests for the dogs - they're here!

I have designed cards, gift wrap and tags all in this rich dark blue, with Scandi themed red and white decorations. Plus all the dogs have little Santa hats on too!

I have also restocked my ever popular stag and pheasant wrap and festive biscuit wrap from last year.
