Supported by Belfast One Cathedral Quarter Belfast and the Linen Quarter this week gives diners the chance to explore over 50 restaurants offering hundreds of mouthwatering menus. Whether you’re craving succulent steaks, vegan delights, or globally inspired dishes from Asia, Italy, or the Mediterranean, there’s something to satisfy every palate. 😋🥩🥑

I was also honoured to attend the launch of Open Kitchen Week, sponsored by 🧑🏻‍🍳

From 11th-17th November 2024, professional kitchens across Ireland and Northern Ireland will open their doors to students, career changers, parents, teachers, and educators who want to explore what it’s really like to be a chef. 🥘

I also enjoyed the effervescent company of the 🍾

As a .gosucceed business mentor, I’m passionate about supporting young people and entrepreneurship. Open Kitchen Week is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring chefs to get hands-on experience and see the exciting career paths in professional cookery.

Hey you, yes you. How are you?

It's Mental Health Awareness Week.

Mental health is talked about a lot and rightly so but if you've never experienced a mental health issue, then maybe it's something that you take for granted.

I might be smiling (I love to smile) but what's really going on behind my eyes? Excitement? Overwhelm? Joy? Worry?

Your mental health is as important as your physical health.

If you're a parent or business owner you need high levels of resilience.

A woman I was chatting to today said something so pertinent when I was breezily chatting about the downs and ups of entrepreneurial life.

'Self care'. It's more than a long bath, buying flowers, or having lie in (although those things are good too). It's about loving who you are and looking after yourself as well as you do your loved ones.

So how are you really feeling today?

I really want to know.
