We can all wear red ❤️, but we do need to get the correct undertone. If you’ve had your colours done, you’ll have a colour wallet to guide you.

This jacket is in my perfect red, it has a blue red undertone perfect for my cool colouring. It’s quite difficult to find a ‘cool’ red. If you have ash brown, ash blonde, white or grey hair you need a cool undertone.

If you have a warm undertone, you need an orangey-red.

Best day with doing everything we love 🛍️🍰☕️

1. We love shopping together, I learn so much about making garments, and Debs was super impressed with the quality at .

2. Mango is one of my favourite shops for jackets (I may have bought one 🫣).

3. Every time we visit Chester, we have to go to this fabric shop. It was a successful visit.

4. Two fabrics purchased, Debs will make herself jeans and a top. We had a great chat about clashing patterns but staying in a similar colourway.

5. Being a professional sewing tutor, Debs frequently takes inspiration from current trends. I’m sure I’ll see her wearing something similar to this top - she has a stash of fabric at her home studio.

6. We obviously visited - a stunning store for make up and fragrances.

7. Debs was looking for a flat black shoe, this was her favoutite but not quite what she was looking for so it’s ‘still under consideration’.

8. If you have a wedding this summer, have some stunning dresses.

15. Size of pattern is so important when it comes to scale and height. The big polka is better for Debs. This jean fabric will soon become a barrel style!

16. Debs convinced me to buy this gorgeous cardigan from I’ll be styling it with lots of different items from my wardrobe.

17. We did visit to bring something home for the boys 💙💙.

18. We always travel park & ride into Chester 🚌.
and we also sit in the back 😝.

19. Debs has a mannequin travelling in the back of her car 🤔, today I christened her Gladys.

We are already planning the next trip!

Love a stripe, but do you ever consider the size of a stripe when you buy? And what about a horizontal or a vertical stripe - which one is best for your body shape?

We talk about stripes and patterns in a style consultation (by the way, did you ever see me in a vertical stripe 🤔 - answer further down).

Wardrobe switch over completed this morning 🙌. I now feel that I have lots of new clothes to wear 😄.

My favourite pair of trainers, bought 5 years ago and are THE most comfortable to wear.

I feel we’ve turned a corner weather wise, here’s to some sunny warm weather 😎☀️👒.

I never wear a vertical stripe because it’s a pattern that is very slimming, always horizontal for me. I also tend to keep away from stripey jumpers, not my best pattern.

I’m always saying to clients - never keep anything for best! Life’s too short.

This dress from was not cheap 😬, but I’ll be wearing it all Summer. The colour is amazing, and it’s been beautifully made. Can’t wait to style and restyle with different accessories.

The white tee. How many do you have?

I met a client a few weeks ago who had 20 😳.
We often struggle and spend lots of money trying to find a perfect white tee (and jeans I find). Here’s why I have these 3.

1st tee is from and has a crew neck, I’ve had it a few years. I often wear this one underneath a crew neck jumper to add a pop of white in winter.

2nd tee is from and has a V neck, perfect with blazers. It’s has more relaxed shape.

3rd tee is a recent sale purchase from and it has a scoop neck and is sleeveless. Perfect in warm weather, under jackets and jumpers.

The 3 between them would have probably cost me £70 and 2 have been used lots already - it’s all about

Jeans are and from .fashion Shrewsbury.

My gorgeous new straw bag is from Cricieth.

My hat is from and I’ve had it a few years. Perfect for sunny days.

The average price of a tee in the UK is between £5 and £15. So my client with 20 spent approx £200 on hers, and most of them went to a charity shop.
She’ll save money now that’s she’s had a colour and style consultation.

Moral of the story - book yourself a colour and style consultation and save money!
