The Anti-Racist Basketball camp is LIVE in Bangor.
Recent events have reminded all of us just how close the racist undercurrent is. We also had a reminder that the Anti-racist outnumber racists a thousand fold.
This all day event is an opportunity to play basketball and support the idea of anti-racism through that.
This event would not be possible with the North Wales Multi-cultural hub, Caernarfon Dreigiau & Holyhead Celts, a massive thank you to everyone that was involved in the organisation.

Amgueddfa Cymru x Museum Association || 🗓 Oct 2023 ||📍 Senedd, Cardiff

Advocacy for two projects I’ve been lucky enough to contribute to. Amgueddfa Cymru engagements are always filled with thoughtful insight, fascinating facts and a top tier team.

It’s always a whirlwind on presentation day, trying to cut through the waffle in my head and tell the audience the highlights underlying a 24 month plus project 😅

Thank you, firstly, to the Ministers and general audience for all the questions and comments, there’s so much more to come. Next, thank you to the Museum professionals and ancillary groups in attendance; finding unity in discovering more about progressive projects that are allowing us to leave our mark through Wales and the rest of the UK.

ACS Ball || April 2023 || Phoenix Cafe

Congratulations and great celebration !!! Another year, another load of young adults going into working life.

No doubt the whole student was not as fun as the night of the Ball was, exams coming up and that. Best of luck to everyone with exams coming up and the best wishes to all the graduates getting ready for everything beyond university.

Around 2020 “John Ystumllyn”, the first African Diaspora to have their history recorded in North Wales had a rose named after him: The John Ystumllyn Rose.
A team came together to commemorate the 18th Century gardener:

1- A trip to St Catherine’s Church, Criccieth, in order to plant 1 of the John Ystumllyn Roses near his final resting place.

2- Planting John Ystumllyn Roses in community gardens, with the aid of local volunteers, student societies and anyone else who wants to get involved.

My aim with this project is to give the local community something beautiful to take in, ease any mental health issues by giving motivation for a walk and of course, remind anyone who comes to the community gardens about John Ystullyn, his life and contribution to North Wales.
